Excellent Latin food. I always get the garlic shrimp with rice and beans. They throw in fried plantains, cheese cubes, and egg with a special house sauce. Mix that all together and you have a meal for two that tastes like a good homemade meal you would find in Colombia. If youre a guy, Im sure youll enjoy looking at the lovely ladies tending bar in their zebra stripes. They are always sweet and accommodating. If you cant speak Spanish, dont worry, theres always a few of the bartenders who speak English just fine. The only downside is it can get packed and crammed very fast. It also is very loud with the music blaring even in off-peak hours. However, you will likely not have an issue with anyone despite the stereotypical gangster feel people aimlessly apply to this place. If theres a big event, that can happen anywhere. The food and ladies more than make up for the loud sounds of music you may not understand.

I enjoy going to the Anchor when Im in the mood for Latino food and ambiance. Frisked at the door last night, I felt totally at home even though I was one of the few gringos, if any. Good party atmosphere with perhaps a DJ. I had the shrimp in white sauce for the second time and it was very tasty and reasonably priced. I noticed that a lot of the regulars ordered the ceviche. I definitely will come back.

I went here for my birthday and it was awesome. The service was quick and the food was delicious. It is a Spanish bar so it makes it 10000x easier to communicate in Spanish but if you cant do that its still a great bar a hookah lounge with 2 large lounge areas and a dance floor

OK lost its vibe. No back bar! Stage has fallen apart. Staff lost its energy Felix the owner drinks to a dangerous point of unpredictable acts and the occasional cameraman will steal your pictures even under contract if he gets your money upfront.

It smells like urine and feces, the waitresses are prostitutes, they barely know English (if any) they are racist and the atmosphere is dangerous alot of drug dealing, crime, gangs, and sniffing cocaine is in your face
