What can i say? Im a fan. im in town for work training again and I decided to bring a coworker to Food Evolution to see if it was just me with an empty stomach the first time or if F.E. really was all the hype i made it the first time. i have to say. Food Evolution DELIVERS. This time I ordered a Burrito Bowl, BBQ style (includes BBQ sauce, onions, portabella mushrooms, brown rice, quinoa, and a few other fixings. You can order your base, style and protein, so mine was BBQ, with Brown rice/quinoa and Ground Turkey. HOLY COW. the burrito bowl was amazing. full of flavor, fresh ingredients, the BBQ sauce was not overbearing and did not mask all the other flavors. I also got a side order of Organic Mac n Cheese. It was extremely cheesy and full of flavor. I will admit that the Mac n Cheese was a but too much, very heavy and very cheesy (a good thing in certain cases) my friend ordered a burger and was blown away, he also got the truffle tots and was amazed at how great the food was. service was impeccable, food was brought to the table with a smile and friendly service. they were polite, cordial and really made you feel welcome when you walked in. The location is clean clean clean. very upscale for a "fast food" joint and they really take pride in their food. I highly recommend giving this place a try and I promise you wont be disappointed.

After a week of eating Chicago deep dish pizza, along with a plethora of other not-so-healthy foods, my boyfriend and I decided to find something healthy to eat. Thats when I did a Yelp search and Food Evolution popped up. Its located within a shopping plaza so it can be really easy to miss - especially since the store front doesnt look like its open. There werent many people dining on a Sunday afternoon at around 3 but I can see it getting busy during prime lunch hours. You order your food at the counter, grab a table, and someone brings the food to your table. I had the ground turkey Asian bowl, which had broccoli, shredded cabbage, roasted red peppers, onions, portabella mushrooms, and honey sriracha sauce. I think the honey sriracha sauce really made the bowl. It sounds really simple but the sweet and spicy flavor was perfect for this mix of veggies. My boyfriend said the turkey had this weird consistency to it, but I actually really liked it (or maybe I was just really hungry)! We only tried this place because we were in the area so I highly doubt we would come back. Its also kind of pricey and the portions are small but at least everything tasted fresh!

I wanted to start off my review by letting everyone know i have worked in many restaurants and seen and heard everything. This Restaurant because i will not de-grade this place to call it fast-food although is very fast paced in the cooking scene, is amazing . The food was fantastic, as well as the service was good. The man behind the register was informative about the food which is something very important to me. I like to know where my food came from and how it got from point A to point B. There website also is very informative . As far as price goes it is defiantly a little more expensive than the average burger joint. But how many places can you say you can get some lunch that isnt GMO RIDDEN, Pesticide sprayed, antibiotic shot up with a side of hormones and steroids.. I can proudly say i had a delicious burger and sides for 22.57 and feel great about it. hands down 9/10 for this restaurant which in my eyes is almost impossible to get. Good job to the owners and i hope this place opens up all over the place, though i will still be driving to montvale with my family Once or Twice a month atleast!.

I was thrilled when I discovered a place where I could grab a health and allergy conscious meal in a pinch. This restaurant is a casual place where health conscious people go to eat SAFE food that is non-GMO, grass fed, organic, sustainable, health promoting, allergy friendly, vegan, gluten free, and more. The owners are AWARE of what REAL FOOD is. I cried tears of joy when I bit into my first Bison Burger on a gluten free bun! That burger was mouth watering delicious! Finally, a place to go for SLOW FOOD that is REAL and TASTY to the max!

Ordered 2 burgers, neither was served as ordered. Sent one back because of food allergy. After the third burger they brought out we gave up, they still couldnt make 1 burger to order. The servers made us feel wildely uncomfortable, intentionally nasty to us. Food quality was 10 out of 10. The entire staff was a joke, absolutely horrible, atrocious. Incapable of hospitality, they run a restaurant? Would never go back and I loved the food. Terrible experience.

This place is great. Fresh ingredients, super friendly staff, fairly quick service. The different grainbowls are excellent and are a refreshingly healthy option to most of the other counter-service type places out there. My favorite so far is the Burrito bowl - so much avocado!! I havent tried their burgers yet but they look great too. A bit more expensive than I typically like to spend on lunch, but totally worth it.

Just ate dinner here. Excellent food that is healthy and well prepared. For people who care about eating healthy at an affordable price, this is the place to go. I had the Evo bowl with Chicken and I would eat that again every day! The owner really cares about making sure that he is serving a good product that lives up to the Organic expectation and he really does. Ill be eating there again.

Ive consistently come here for lunch since theyve opened!! Aside from the awesome flavor (I get a bacon cheddar burger or BLT with truffle tots) there is really no better option for the quality they provide and the price. Almost everything is organic including their iced tea bar. Highly recommend, just wish there was more than one location.

We LOVE Food Evolution. For a family that has some members gluten-free, some dairy-free, and all hopefully eating healthy, this is the first restaurant weve found that we can actually ALL get what we need! And its awesome tasting, too. Well definitely be going back soon!
