I am lazy, I never write reviews. That being said, this experience was so bad that I am actually writing a review. I live on a very short, less than 50 yards long, dead end street. The delivery person called me at 11:32 to tell me she was on the street, so I gave her additional directions, "Do you see the Coptic Church at the end of the street?" "Yes" "Okay great, I am the second building on the left, has the big 7 on the outside. The building closest to the church." (Same directions given to every delivery person for the last 2 years as google maps always points to the buildng directly across from mine) Two minutes later I get a call from a guy telling me that the toast was left behind and he is bringing it. Then I get another call from the delivery person and she cant find the building, no idea how that is happening but fine, I give her even more directions explaining that my building is closest to the church, on the left hand side, big #7 on it, give her the name of the apartments (Sign in front of the building), she says okay and I assume she will be here in a few seconds. The guy shows up with the forgotten toast, I explain the difficulties of the driver and he says she is new but he will go help her get here. She calls again, says she is pushing the buzzer to be let in and I explain that no, she isnt or I would hear it and so would she as I am right beside the door panel in my apartment. She says "Well I am at building #1." Yes, building #1, despite my repeated explanations of building #7, 7 not 1. It took her 15 minutes to navigate a < 50 yard long dead end street with solid landmarks, like a Coptic Church and building numbers to bring me food that is now cold. I tried calling the guy to get her help during that time, but he didnt answer his phone. I have also called the restaurant itself twice, only to get an answering machine, despite the store hours listed as being open to 4:30 and its 12 pm. As the spinach, mushroom and swiss omelette has more peppers and onions in it than anything else. Which on their menu, it does not list PEPPERS OR ONIONS. In short, some of the worst customer service ever. Period.

Excellent food at great prices. My favorites are the chicken parm sub (the chicken is crisp and chopped into big pieces), the warm pastrami sandwich, the meatballs, the potato salad, the tuna sub, the Valley special sub, the italian sub, the curly fries.... Ok, I have to catch my breath. So far I have not had a bad experience with the food or the delivery. Oh, the mozzarella sticks too!! Anyway, I order on Grubhub all the time, so Ive never actually been to the deli or spoken on the phone and have only met the delivery girl, who is very nice and always on time or even early. Great selection on the menu for breakfast and lunch. The burger! That was outstanding. It was the double burger. I asked for rare, and you know what I got? Not well done. Not medium. I got RARE. Very few places can do a burger the way I like it. Steves nailed it. Where was I? Oh, its a great place with great prices and great food! Can you ask for more? I know I cant. HOME FRIES! I loved the home fries. I added a picture, but it doesnt do it justice. Still had the skin on the potatoes and soft but still crunchy onions....

Everytime i go the owner Steve has a stank attitude, if u hate your job then leave. Hes always makes me feel uncomfortable as if hes racist. I orders a couple things from the shop and lets just say the homefries are disgusting. The grilled chicken sandwich has no flavorr. I asked for light mayo and got no mayo instead i asked for thin slices tomatoes and i got thick the lettuce was like they just threw it instead of plaving ir nice. Then i had the bacon egg and cheese and i was sick to my stomach for a week its as if he doesnt clean his grill. Overall i give this place a 1 i have given it a tryed a couple of time and i always leave with a bad impression. Food is fresh but not fresh looking.

This place is "OUTSTANDING" found it by mistake..tucked away on a side st..really glad for that mistake...I highly recommend the Lewies kitchen sink breakfast sandwich (sub) best breakfast sandwich ever...
