Let me just start by saying, I rarely write negative online reviews. This isnt a warning, so much for customers, as it is for businesses wanting to deal with this company. I have a family member who is a very successful business man, he approached the manager about hosting a wine tasting there for his company and clients. Long story short, they completely blew him off, even after he went in personally to arrange the event. Another story, that happened to me personally. I was told that local artists were invited to hang their art in the shop, so I tried for weeks to meet with the manager about it, never seeming to be able to catch her in the store. Finally, I was given an email and told to contact a man to arrange when I would be able to display my art. The date I was given was for 3 months in the future, I stayed in semi constant contact with the gentleman and was really looking forward to my opening.... I even designed flyers, that I pasted out and emailed to friends and family... Like I said, I was really looking forward to it. About 2 weeks before my show was set to open, I emailed the man I had been in contact with..... no reply.... for a week... ONE WEEK before my show was set to open I get an email back saying that he no longer worked for the company and that I would need to contact them, so I did. I was told by the assistant manager, that they didnt have my event anywhere on their calendar or in their schedule, but that the manager would be in contact with me to rearrange my show............ its been several months and Im still waiting on that phone call. As for the coffee, it depends on who is working.

I work just a few mins from this coffee shop and am so grateful for their new presence in the neighborhood. The previous coffee shop had the most terrible coffee, but Swills coffee is great! I prefer them to Starbucks and I have been Starbucks loyal customer for 10 years. Im a big fan of the unsweetened Almond Milk Lattes and the Americano. The beans they use far out beat Starbucks. The flavor, texture, and aroma are perfect. I have to avoid milk, sugar, and soy. What an amazing treat this coffee shop provides to me each day! They also have a wonderful selection of organic foods/treats as well as gluten free foods. I have not had much luck with the brewed coffee. I have not spent much time in the coffee shop as all of my beverages have been to go, but the atmosphere is great and the staff is very friendly. My request, 20oz cups please. If you visit, you must try an Almond Milk Latte!

Wow, the new owners have done an amazing job with this place! It used to look depressing, sad and empty. Now its colourful, inviting and much cosier with comfy sofa and arm chairs, a gas fireplace, artwork and jewellery on display. The owners are friendly and welcoming, and made me feel at home. And Mommies take note: its one of the few places in Reno that has bothered to install a baby changing table in the restroom! Oh and the coffee is good and very well priced. Top marks- Ill definitely be back!

I have my morning coffee here almost every day. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and the coffee, provided by the Hub Roasters is mostly good-excellent. Every once in a while they have an off day, but overall this place is very good for its atmosphere and the hospitality of the owners and staff.

How the heck do you want to compete with Starbucks? I do like to support local coffee shops, but this has been such an unpleasant place to work. Super loud, noisy when you on the phone, loud people, loud staff. You dont get the cozy feel at all. The cafe is okay, but it is not cheaper than Starbucks.

Where do I start, Swill Coffee -Wine, Pete and company, is where I start every Wednesday for the last 6 months @7:00. They have become family and friends all of them, staff and patrons alike. Stop by and see for your self you will be glad you did. Keep up the good work you guys...

I have not tried the food, but the COFFEE is so good. It is near my office and Ive been here a few times. You can taste the difference, especially in the mocha. They use some high quality cocoa. The price is comparable, but you get more for your money.

Nothing out of the ordinary. Limited choice of breakfast munchies and the one I bought was stale. Congested order/pay station. Needs to re-configure their layout there a bit.

Vibe is always good, great baristas, wonderful coffee. Tip: get the coffee club membership, it pays for itself if youre a regular coffee, iced coffee, or iced tea drinker
