Used to visit here regularly, order food, coffee, meet clients who did the same, it was pretty nice. So, I really wanted to keep patronizing this place but... over a year or so my last three visits went like this: 3) My friend waited to order while I tried, and failed, to find a clean table. When I came back he was still waiting for the staff to finish their teenie bopper conversation (we were the only ones there), when they finally took our order they were out of coffee... we walked out. 2) Place was clouded with smoke, business partner and I coughed and left. 1) This morning... needed a place to land for the morning, realized the couch had cigarette burns, smoke smell evident but not overpowering, hadnt ordered anything (yet), and was asked by an adult staff to buy something or leave. I left. Im an architect, dressed professionally, obviously the kind of person OTHER businesses like having around but apparently this place would prefer I spend my money elsewhere instead of their locally owned business. Arghhhh.....

I see lots of comments regarding the quality of the coffee, and thought I might offer my perspective. The coffee is of good quality- whole bean ground for each pot, or specialty drink order- but the brew for the "air pots" is on the "light side" (I believe that the fact that much of the regular clientele is aged may be the impetus for this- cant send them into heart arrhythmia and sweats just because WE like strong coffee). My solution- order coffee with a double-shot of espresso, and sweat my palpitating little "tuchas" off...! That aside, the food, the atmosphere, the staff, and the clientele are TOP-NOTCH! I moved into the area three years ago, and the Corner Coffee House is my new "home away from home".

Friendly service with a neighborhood feel. I went here today for a work-related class. I was a little worried about the quality of the food from some previous reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. I was here for several hours, so I started with a blueberry muffin and a Milky Way Latte. Both were quite good, even though the latte was quite sweet. For lunch, I had the chicken salad sandwich with chips. It was served on a fresh croissant, which was nice. It was a little salty, but I still enjoyed it. The chips were some bagged variety. I got my lunch with a soda (free refills) for around $7, so not too expensive. There was a lunch rush when I ordered, but I only waited about 5 minutes.

I always feel like the manager (? not sure what she is, but shes the lady that is always there) just doesnt care about you if you arent one of her buddies and that you are totally irritating her by going to the coffee shop. The place REEKS of smoke, and even though they have a kids section, its pointless to let your baby play there because of all of the smoke. The coffee is TERRIBLE--if you actually like to drink coffee, this is NOT the place to go. And dont make the mistake of getting a specialty drink--the lattes are awful. I wish there was a closer coffee shop thank this one in Ferguson.

This place was fabulous, after driving around on a Sunday morning looking for a good fast breakfast place to eat at other than McDonalds and I came across this place, my mom stay in the area so I always drive place wondering how the food taste, so I decided to stop into before going to my moms house. My son, boyfriend and I got breakfast sandwiches , French toast with bacon and a latte, and I would like to say OMG the food was good I want more this is a quite little coffee shop in downtown Ferguson and the staff was so friendly thank you so much, we will definitely be back

This is a cute little coffee house, and the food and drinks are good. I also like that the owners are involved in the community, posting info about upcoming events, farmers markets, etc. The only thing that really turned me off to this place was the smokers. The trash cans reeked of old stale cigarette butts, and it only takes a couple of smokers to fill the entire inside with smoke. I had to leave, and because Im allergic to cigarette smoke, I doubt Ill be back. It makes me sad, because everything else about the place was great!

While the prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is pleasant and good for either social occasions or work, the food here is not great. The chicken salad is extremely over-salted and under-peppered, and the sandwich it came on included no veggies. The smoothie is far too sweet and it is uncertain how much fruit it actually contains, if any. Nice people, nice atmosphere, but I dont recommend the food.

Its a nice, cozy place to hang out, and the food and drinks are pretty good (except for the regular coffee, in my opinion), though a little pricy (for what you get). I always felt like the owners were really not that nice, but it has never been enough to actively keep me from coming here.

This is a nice breakfast stop. They make decent coffee and are very family friendly with a small play area for younger children. Its also a community hub for the town of Ferguson, complete with regular customers and meeting spaces that can be reserved.

Great local coffee shop and hangout. Locals gather here at multiple times throughout the day and you might get lucky and see the Table of Knowledge. Bakery items are fresh and it has good coffee, breakfast, and lunch offerings.

Since going under new ownership it is terrible. You use to walk in and it was packed. Noe you may see 2-3 people. I have been there twice and waited over an hour just for 2 orders of hash browns and gravy. Will not be back.

The atmosphere is quiet and cozy the food is so-so and the wait for the food took longer than promised. I would only go there again for the coffee and quiet atmosphere. Absolutely nothing special about the food.

Coffee and food are average, prices are a bit high for what you get. Wait time for food was nearly a half hour despite a nearly empty store. Friendly staff, clean restaurant. Great for meetings!

Based on the other reviews, I was expecting a dump... none-the-less I needed coffee. They were nice and quick. They brought the food to me and a refill on my coffee.
