You know I used to go to Keys all the time and always thought it was great. Well the last 2 times were so bad I will not be going back. Goodbye Keys. Visit 1: I recently went to the Larpenteur location and was greeted with an eyeroll by a teenage girl who asked me my name. It is "LONG" but I watched her and she wrote it down wrong 3 times and then told me wait, as she checked her iphone! Once seated, a lady I am sure was high, or on Pills or something took our order. My son ordered bacon and eggs and me too, with gluten free toast. She came back with Mickey pancakes and whipped cream. I said it must be someone elses order and she said "No I just thought he would like this better". I called for the manager, who talked to her, and she brought me the wrong order 3 times!!! Never did get my gluten free toast. I called the manager back and he tried to offer me a free cookie. I told him Im not paying and left. Visit 2-Raymond (original Keys): The next visit I thought maybe it will be better at the original location. Not. I waited forever for my order to be taken. Then I called someone over and the lady finally came and I asked for a coffee. She brought me 2 coffees, one for my son who is 8! (huh) she then disappeared. I checked my watch and it was 17 minutes and it was not busy at all. When I asked for a manager she came back and said "Im sorry, I just have a hard time paying attention when its slow like this". I called the manager back over and he tried to offer me a free baked good. I declined. Then she never came back. The food was brought out by the cook, and I never got a refill on my coffee or a bill. I finally went up to pay and the lady at the counter reeked of cigarettes and refused to get off of her phone. She finally sighed, put down her phone, and asked how it was and I told her how horrible it was and how rude she was for being on her phone while I waited at the counter for a long time. She said "Im sorry I was at the end of a level." BOYCOTT KEYS. Horrible human beings who dont deserve your money. Oh, and our order was 1 coffee, 1 side of bacon, 1 side of toast, cereal, and OJ. It was $18!!!!!!!!!!! I want you all to know that they have jacked their prices way up. A cup of coffee is close to $3. Save yourself and dont go to Keys.

I have been here a handful of times. But this time was a total turn off and wont be back. I know on Sundays it can be busy waited about 15 min for a table not a big deal. When we got a table waitress was nice friendly placed are order. Sitting there talking with my wife looking around at the walls and photos and see dust so thick hanging off them very gross. Even the sign when you walk in the door has dust hanging off it. But any way.waited over 25 min for food to come out.when it did mine a very simple ranch breakfast was cold wife had almost the same thing a #4 her sausage and eggs hot, Mine cold not even luke warm. So I gave it back did not eat did not want to wait. So my wife shared hers with me. All in all dont think I will be back just because of the dust literally hanging off every thing ready to drop on your head or in to your food. If the front of the house is that bad I can just imagine what the kitchen line looks like. The price for breakfast was way to much. The bill was $27 dollars #4 and #7 and two coffees. Sence I sent mine back the bill was $11.75 for a #4 and 2 coffees #4 is 2 eggs toast and sausage way over priced .

This place was fantastic. When I and my group walked in the door, we was promptly created by staff, and the wait was only 5 minutes. While waiting, they offered samples of some of their baked goods all of which were yummy. I like the small cafe feel of this place and it feels very cozy. On their menu they have a nice selection of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. I got the Option 1, which includes Eggs, Hashbrowns, Toast, and I picked bacon for my meat option. All of it was delicious and the portions are great! Their homemade jam goes great with the toast. Our waitress was friendly and the staff seemed nice too. I really wanted to buy a pie or bakery good, but our group was in a rush to leave after. Overall I love this place, and Id be willing to take the 25 minute drive from my house to go here again. Update: Went for a second day in a row and tried their grilled cheese chicken tender sandwich and it was delicious. Also bought a few of their day old bakery goods and they were tasty.

I was looking forward to my favorite breakfast at Keys on Raymond today. The Ranch Breakfast, over easy eggs, American fries, bacon, coffee. After 40 minutes I left without any food and only a cup of coffee.which I had to insist I pay for. Some restaurateurs’ and some servers still dont undersdatnd that no amount of apology or "comping" can make up for lost time and a poor experience. That taste remains for a long time. I was kindly told by my server that my order was given to someone else. OK. Mistakes happen but after a 10 minute wait and still no breakfast I left. The server tried to "comp" my coffee, but I insisted I pay for it since I did drink most of it waiting for my food. I have been going to this particular Keys for over 20 years and never had this kind of experience. Sure, it may have been a one time thing, but it certainly did put a damper on my day.

Went there for lunch today. This is NOT the place to go for a fast lunch. Service takes awhile. Our server was a nut. I asked her what type of bread the homemade buns were and her answer was The same. The same as what? I asked her if they were white or wheat and she told me Wheat isnt any better for you. First off, thats not what I asked and second off ...yes it is. I ordered a hamburger with pepper jack cheese. It was alright and came with plenty of pickles. The chips are those greasy ruffle chips out of a bag. Not what I would consider a good deal at a $7 lunch. All of the other entrees and sandwiches are $8-$13. Lunch specials come with fries and coleslaw but will cost you three dollars more than if you just got chips. It is also awkward because they ask what you want to add for the tip on to your card before they ring it through.

Before today, had a wonderful experience at the Roseville location; great food and service. Cant say the same at the Raymond Ave location. There were two servers and eight tables total yet two servers were unable to give consistent service. It took a noticable time to be waited on, the food did not come out as we ordered it (asked for over easy eggs and we received over hard), we asked for a croissant and never got it and our server never checked up on us until we asked for the check. I will say the food was alright for the most part but the experience ruined it. Maybe they were having an off day, which is absolutely understandable, but the fact it was so bad that it made me feel compelled to complain about it on the internet should say something.
