Great remodel especially freshness of deli which is a go-to on my way home from work. Still customer service needs lots of work. Stopped by to purchase a chicken dinner & made to feel like I was an inconvenience. I watched the meal be slapped together into various containers with no bag. I even needed to ask for the buns that come with the meal & told I need to grab a package off the shelf. At the front checkout I had to explain all the containers & buns were part of the meal price to avoid being charged for each item. Left the store very frustrated.

I really question ALL of the positive reviews and only one negative one. Cub Foods in Cottage Grove has had horrible customer service for years. That comes from the top management down. Two lanes open , employees standing around talking and most people being forced to use self service. That is the problem. I have actually checked out there in the past and the cashier didnt even say hello to me. Said nothing to me. Just handed me the receipt.No remodeling, or new store front will fix that problem.

been coming to Cub since they opened. Have had no problems with them. They have upgraded to make the store more pleasant. So once in a while you might find a bad vegetable or fruit. That happens after shipping so you have to just look. Not cubs fault, happens at any store you go to.

Stop in at night to get some groceries. They had moldy tomatoes and old onions that the need to replace. Produce was very poor overall. The meat counter guy did not greet us and was slow to get service. The employees were not of a high caliber.

Standard Cub foods. Good prices, friendly and helpful staff. The store has been upgraded slightly over the years to become more modern but it still a slightly outdated looking grocery.

Bought by an 8 piece chicken dinner. 1/2 grilled, 1/2 crispy. Grilled chicken was black. Brought it back and got 8 more pieces. Thanks Cub for making it right.

They just had a major redesign to compete with the Hy-Vee that just opened in Cottage Grove. The prices are a bit cheaper at Cub for most things in my opinion.

Visiting my daughters best friend in St Paul Park, Cub had everything we needed for Adults and Kids to eat. Store was clean and well organized.
