We went for an early dinner to our favorite place. Everything was going well until we order our drinks. The waiter (B) said they have every faygo soda. My husband order a root beer and rock and rye. Waiter walks away comes back with-out the drinks and says no rock and rye, were out, pick another flavor. Ordered another flavor and were informed nope dont have that flavor either wanna pick another or I can tell you what we have. Ended up with red pop. We order dinner. While were waiting for food the waiter doesnt come and check on us, the pop is empty he standing at the bar chatting with the bartender. We are close enough to the bar that we can hear his side of the conversation Which was in appropriate for our twelve-year-old to be Over hearing. Food comes he drops it off and asked if we would like another soda. Yes, please. Drops pop off and we ask for ketchup, waiter ask what we need ketchup for, u have blue cheese dressing. For the tots. Waiter says I didnt think u needed it. Well we would like ketchup also. Then we asked for extra dressing for the sandwich as it was dry. Waiter comes back and says they put French dressing on it nothing special, drops a little side cup off of the dressing. Husband put it on his sandwich...nope not French dressing. Spicey like Franks hot sauce. Call waiter over and let him know that its not French dressing. Waiter says they dont have Franks sauce. Only sriracha sauce. We dont care you brought the side and said it was French dressing, its now on my sandwich. Waiter leaves and says, while laughing, someone put the wrong sauce in the cup. Laughing more, and then makes things worse by saying it happens, next time try it before you put it on your food. Walks away laughing. To top it off a few ladies were sitting at the high tops vapping. I pointed it out to one of the girls, her response was, their not smoking its only vapping.I had fish tacos which were ok, they Usually are overfilled with cabbage and cheese which I put on the taco chips to eat. Im pretty sure there was no cilantro sauce on my tacos but wasnt going to bug our waiter as he was busy on the other side of the restaurant talking and laughing. The manager usually makes the Rounds but not today. Asked waiter if manager was available he said hes busy. We left it at that. Never ever have we had such bad service or food at the Rooster. We take family and friends there twice a mth. Truly disappointed.

We gave this place a second chance, and it still disappointed. We had the same server both times. Today, the appetizer (nachos) took greater than a half hour to come, there was no plates for all 4 in our party and it was cold. Our entrees came soon after and one plate of their famous twisted Mac and cheese had to be sent back to be reheated, which we didnt get back until everyone was already finished, so my wife couldnt eat with everyone else. We were comped the price of her meal, but she just wanted to eat there and not take it home, but wasnt going to eat by herself. Free takeout when you wanted to sit and eat.... I had a burger and it was warm, but the bun was really stale, I figured whatever, Ill eat it anyhow because I didnt want to send back all of our food. My daughters grilled cheese had been sitting for a while before coming out because the cheese was all congealed and stiff, but shes 3 and so she still ate it. It seemed like they might just need more wait staff, because our server was running everywhere, so that could probably account for the food being cold and the poor service. The first time we ate there around 3-4 weeks ago we had the same server and the food was good, but the place was basically empty that time. My wife had the same meal she had today and enjoyed it, but the server seemed new so we figured she would improve eventually. Im giving it 2 stars because the food is good if it gets to you in time, but it doesnt seem to happen due to the service you receive. We wont be going back a third time though.

After a long days work, my company and i became parched. we are staying at a nearby hotel and decided to venture over to the twisted chicken. luckily we showed up during happy hour and took full advantage of the opportunity presented before us. after 6 delicious barley flavored malt beverages with a zesty hint of hops, we were cut off and told we must eat food before we could partake in another beverage. so like any reasonable human we did just that followed by 2 glasses of pure flint Michigan water. with all requirements met, we were informed we were still cut off. i feel as though we were cheated and forced to pay for food. this was an emotional rollercoaster and it forced us to travel to the prancing pony.

Good atmosphere to relax and unwind after a challenging day at work. Interesting "twist" to their menu selections. Yesterday I had the Mesa Chopped salad with calamari appetizer....Excellent combo of tastes and seasonings for both.... definitely not an ordinary salad... This evening I was in the mood for serious protein....the "Tower of Ribs" did the trick...a full 16 oz of Ribs....I chose the dry rub....the bean side was a mix of beans, slightly sweetened..... the ribs were meaty, tasty, spiced right, and little fat (surprisingly)...both were wonderful. Downing a pint made the meal complete... You know.....Ill probably be back....Excellent choice for food in a different style and relaxing...

Im taking my 5 star review right off and marking Twisted rooster a 1 star, I live 5 mins from there we enjoy the Calamari and the lobster mac and cheese soooooo much, but warning if you do a carry out, make sure you check it before you leave, they cant seem to get it right. 3 weeks ago, no sauce with our calamari, no Parmesan crisp with the lobster mac and cheese, tonight we ordered 2 calamaris and a french dip, no sauce with either of our Calamaris. when we called the manager told my husband to order extra sauce next time. I dont want "extra sauce" I want what it comes with!!!!!!! I think were done with them!!! (we always tip 5$-6$ on our carry out as well)...... What a joke!

Ordered the pulled pork sandwich and asked the waitress for no cole slaw on the sandwich. Our food took awhile to come which was fine since we werent in a rush. When the food finally came I could tell that they had put the cole slaw on my sandwich and then tried to hide it by scraping it off rather than just making a new one. When I told the waitress about it she was more than nice and the manager did take it off the bill, but I just didnt like how the people cooking tried to hide the mistake. In general the place seemed very chaotic and short staffed and I heard other customers complaining about wait times and service. I dont know think well be going back

Their food is pretty DECENT considering how long it took to prepare. After the 4th and final chance I have given this Twister Rooster I am calling it quits. Every time I place a carry out order they manage to forget something even after REPEATING IT back to me, TWICE. First time they forget a whole dish, second time they get the wrong order, third time they didnt have what was available on the menu, fourth time they forgot the side to my dish. I had to wait numerous times for them to correct an order they messed up and was never even offered something as simple as a free drink. #badcustomerservice #slowcustomerservice #DONEwiththisplace
