This place is simply gross! I would absolutely not recommend to anyone. The cashiers were unprofessional and the place is dirty. The food was limited and tasted bad. My husband and I couldnt finish our food due too the bad taste. I have been to many buffets and have never experienced such unprofessionalism. We paid, then the cashiers simply walked away. We followed her thinking she was seating us, she literally looked at us and walked away leaving the table dirty and us looking like idiots in front of the few ppl that were there. I have never felt so emberrased in my life, we had to ask a random employee where to sit since the cashier left us clueleas. This place really needs to step up their game. I was very disappointed an wouldnt eat here even if it was free. Seriously dont waste your money.

Very fresh food. Waitress was very courteous, quick with refills and plate removal. Priced really good. Lunch was 6.99 plus .99 for the pop. Very clean restaurant and a huge selection of food. Only downfall, there was not a wide variety of sushi available. Got there about 11:20 am, there were a few people already there, but by noon they were practically packed. Very fast turn around on food. Never seen any completely empty. They even have a create your own dish, hibachi. Wish I lived closer to come more often. One of the best buffets Ive been to. I highly recommend. Also, Id like to add, I didnt see any ripped seats or anything disgusting, and i tried most everything and none of it was bland. Seniors only get a .50 discount on lunch as well.

A great little buffet place. While I only stop in here about once a year, as part of the post Shuto-con anime convention weekend, its still a great little place. Its pretty much at this point become a post convention tradition to stop at for the last meal before going back home after a awesome convention weekend. I would recommend it to others, especially my fellow con goers as a nice little stop to go to have some good eats and have fun talking about the convention memories from the weekend while having a good meal, before you and your friends from the weekend all head back off to ones daily lives, especially when sometimes the only chance you get to see some of these friends is for events like these.

I eat at world buffett often and always enjoy the food. Three of the waiters even know what drinks to bring me and my wife and they always keep the drinks full. I go for the butterfly shrip served after 4pm and the steak also served after 4pm. The cost is low and the food is always hot. $17 for two people with drinks for their lunch buffett and $23 for two people and drinks on thier dinner buffett. This is my wife and mines favorite buffett to eat at in lansing. I have never had a problem with cleanliness and i always see them wiping down tables and even the walls.

A very ok restaurant, if you are hungry come here, the food is gauranteed to fill you up, and the selection is wide, their are different tastes to everything, and the crab legs are the best! The grill area is amazing too and the best if you want excitement and a change in taste, in the restaurant and you select what you want for the chef to grill!... You have to try the CHICKEN AND THE BEEF STEAKS!!! THEY ARE DELECTABLE!!! For the beef, go for medium rare, or medium!!! You wont be disappointed!

My kids and I love to eat here. They dont charge much. But children 3 and up is $.55 per age. This is reasonable considering my 2 and 4 year old dont eat much. We love the hibachi option! And they cook steak any cook you want! The ladies behind the counter are super sweet and talk to my kids. But the wait staff are kid of quiet and dont smile much, but they do a good job of bringing your drink before you notice you need more and they remove dirty dishes swiftly.

Buffet world is my familys favorite Chinese buffet! They have crab legs and a "build your own plate" grill which includes scallops and shrimp along with chicken, pork and beef. Even better, they have a wide variety of other foods my picky kids love and they even have Steaks grilled to order. They are a bit pricey compared to other Chinese buffets but my family loves it! The staff is hands down the best service you can get from a buffet restaurant IMHO

I have ate her a couple of times and I was concerned about how clean it was. I gave it another chance on 9/8/13 and noticed it seemed cleaner then I recall. Food seemed fresh and they seemed to keep it well stocked. No more crab legs but the sauteed baby clams, crayfish and green shell mussels seemed to be a big hit with many. I dont recommend going off times to any chinese buffet, try to stick to prime time and you will be happier with the freshness.

Formerly the location of an Old Country Buffet. This restaurant used to be located behind Best Buy, next to the post office. This is our favorite all-you-can-eat place for dinner. Food is generally fresh. There is wide variety to choose from. In addition to a pretty good buffet (my favorites include the wontons and peanut chicken) there is cheap sushi, grilled steaks and a pseudo Mongolian grill. Not bad for about $11 a head!

If you like Chinese food, this is one of the best places in the Lansing area for a buffet. The price for a dinner is about $10/adult, but lunch is a little cheaper. They have a wide range of selections, including your pot stickers, crab rangoon, salad bar, desserts, sushi and hibachi grill. The food tastes great and is kept stock. The only downside is it gets busy and you may have to wait to find a seat, but not usually long.

I ate here yesterday with my fiancee and daughter and was on my first plate and got the buttered seafood which was delicious first bite as I attempted to take my second I noticed a long light hair on my fork!! I freaked out! And the BEST that they could do for me was to give me 10% off my bill! I was outraged!! So for 3.16 off my bill I will NEVER eat there again I will stick to China Palace on the SouthSide!

The register attendant is friendly and asked me about my day. The waitress never let our drinks run low. There is large selection of food including a salad bar, several entre bars, sushi bar, and dessert bar. The food quality is above what I would expect for a buffet. I have been here several times and never had a negative experience.

The only good thing about this place is that it is cheap. But everything else is bad. The food is bland, the floors are dirty. The seats and tables are old and broken. The staff is rude. And the food is cold most of the time. Do not bother to come here, and save yourself the trouble of getting food poisoning.

With the temps soaring into the low 90°s we were pleasantly pleased to eat at World Buffet. The service was excellent as well as the food. Fresh and tasty food choices with a hibachi grill line too. My family 1senior 2children and myself ate for around $30. We will be returning again soon.
