We ordered a large half cheese, half pepperoni pizza and couldnt have been more disappointed. We felt that it was overpriced (around $16), and it was very thin, somewhat flaccid, and difficult to chew. There wasnt a card reader at the register (we rarely carry cash), so my husband had to go find an ATM and then return before we could pay for our pizza and head home. This wasnt a problem as much as it was an inconvenience, but it impacted our overall perception of this establishment nonetheless. We wanted to love it - we live just up the road and like to support as many local businesses as we can - but this is one that we just cant see ourselves returning to anytime soon. Id rather eat a Little Caesars $5 Hot N Ready pizza than repeat the expensive disappointment of Volcano.

We ordered over the phone and the pizza was ready in 10 minutes. The pizza tasted great. The pizza didnt have crust around the edges and was cut differently. I liked this because the pieces werent flimsy and the toppings went to the edge. We will definitely go again.

This is the best pizza Ive ever had. Unfortunately, I moved to California a long time ago and no longer can have it. The only reason I ever come back to visit Battle Creek is for this pizza.

Anyone who says the crust is too thin didnt know about Volcanos speciality throughout its history. Best pizza Ive ever had in my life! Wish it was open more.
