Awful experience, edible food, and a daft waitress was the theme of me and my wifes dinner here. At first, the $10.25 price tag for the very little buffet offering seemed high, but we were optimistic and well, mostly hungry. We ordered our drinks and then set off on what we wanted to be deliciousness waiting to be chosen. I grabbed a bit of everything I could fit on my plate to see what I wanted to really eat like I always do. The first bite was pepper steak... meh, have had far better. But ok, what else? Well I have sautéed mushrooms, hey ok, not bad. Oh my drink arrives....OH MY GOD! What did they put in my root beer It was gross, like watered down or something. Couldnt drink it, whatevs, Im hungry. Sesame chicken, great flavor, but what I ate was battered chicken without the chicken, and very exhausting to chew. Bourbon chicken, tender juicy meat, flavor ok, not bad. Garlic shrimp.... dear lord no, just no. Crab Rangoon, not bad if you like deep fried cream cheese puffs, not really sure whose idea it was to call those Crab Rangoon. Chicken fried rice, what the hell, am I eating microwavable Chinese fried rice? Awful and very dry. So for me my choice was sautéed mushrooms, bourbon chicken and what I think was watered down root beer. Disappointing wasnt the feeling, I left there feeling depressed. And my wife, as if I havent said enough, she doubles this, plus she made me laugh when she compared their pork something or another noodles to Nissan chow mein 5 minute microwavable noodles in a box! Then to cap it off, our waitress decides to question my depressed look and ask why I didnt eat the rest of the very little food I chose not to eat and ask why (which in itself was interesting, considering it was a buffet). Well I spoke of my feelings in general, I didnt like it, and she wants to further this by asking why with a bit a smugness to it. I tried to explain my thoughts of the foods lackluster taste. I chose to iterate my thoughts I gave you above about the crab Rangoon. She wasnt satisfied with my dissatisfaction and felt she had to educate me on how this place cooks food thats just well, different. And she explained this by informing us that she eats at the Chinese restaurant across town! And to further bake into my mind the difference of their food, she told me how salads are fattening and not the dressings like bleu cheese. Which that was a conversation she shared with the owner at some point or something......I, I cant touch that, and I didnt, but...speechless. Final words Never Again

I ordered food to go, cost = overpriced, taste quality = bland (hot & sour soup NOT SPICY) white rice taste like uncle Bens. I noticed a little msg, i have an allergic reaction to msg, and would be able to tell if it is heavily laced with msg. I know mandarin dishes and Cantonese dishes well as ive traveled through the states, the food does not taste nearly as authentic as it should be you can get the same taste value or better if you were to cook your own with generic off brand spices. This would NOT be a restaurant i will visit again for food. They mean well, but the for those who desire quality and taste for the cost, this is not the place to go. Overall taste quality bland, price value over priced, attitude good but leaves you wishing you would have stayed home. suggestions maybe a new style of cooking use an open wok, tenderize and flavor meats at least 24 hours in advance, better quality rice, use bamboo utensils to cook with as metal utensils change flavor of the foods, and survey chinese menus from other areas for cost equality.

My daughter and I arrived at 8:15 p.m. The sign on the door said open until 10. We walked in and the buffet was already taken down and the staff was sitting at a table having dinner. I ordered a quart of chicken used for sweet and sour chicken, no sauce, no white rice, no vegetables, to go. I was a bit wary to do this as the last time we ordered it to go it was burned, dried out and there were 8 pieces of the chicken, and the vegetables were included in the box, making it inedible due to allergies. I asked the woman at the desk if it was a normal portion, she stated she didnt know, but we decided to take a chance...mistake. There was 7 pieces of chicken in the "quart", a pint of sauce was included, which leaked all over the boxes, the bag, and the back seat of my car, all for the bargain price of just shy of $10. Never again.

My wifes FAVORITE Chinese restaurant in at least a hundred mile radius. Shes probably bias due to the fact that its the one closest to where she grew up, but it is always a pleasant place to eat. The food is almost always fresh and they are willing and eager to replace a dish on the buffet if it is not fresh enough. The restaurant is very clean and somewhat recently had an internal "remodel". The place is much more open feeling and significantly brighter. The wait staff is also always extremely friendly and remember the regulars, which is a nice touch these days. Good food at a respectable price. I would recommend this place.

Golden Dragon has always been our familys favorite chinese food. A couple years ago we moved across town. There are several closer chinese restaurants, larger buffets, and one that delivers, but we drive 30 across town and back to eat there because none are comparable to the flavor of Golden Dragons! I get cravings for the buttery goodness of their shrimp toast. Yum! Love the sweet dipping sauce that comes with it! Other favorites are the Bourbon Chicken, Sesame chicken, Shrimp with Lobster Sauce, and Beef and Noodles.

This was my go to Chinese place. Lately, the take out quality has been hit and miss, but I never complained. This last time, I was given the wrong chicken order and, when they corrected it, what I received was a pint container filled with vegetables and 5 pieces of chicken, for $6. When I asked for a new order, as I found this unacceptable, I was scolded in front of other customers because, apparently, that was a lot of chicken for that order.

I dont even want to give them that one star but to review i have to. The food is old and the service sucks. They price gouge on holidays without the customers knowing. They dont notify you when the price is raised and if you ask where they posted a price the say look in the menu. Never would i recomend this place. Ive been 4 times with my family and each time has been a TERRIBLE experience. Never again.

They have so many varieties of different foods and if you dont like Chinese food, they have incredible American choices too! Its always the perfect temperature inside and the service is the best. Take out is just as good, fast and delicious! Im hungry now...time to go get some golden dragon :D

The food quality was very low, the food was cold...even the ice cream had an odd flavor to it. The service was friendly, but the food is absolutely horrific. I do not understand how ANYone can rave about the food, and have to question the pallets of a few of these posters...Take the advice of the vast majority of the reviews here, skip this place
