Although I havent been there in a long time, this restaurant has been in Randolph for a long time and used to be one of my favorites. Unfortunately, I was there just recently (July) and was disappointed. The wait staff were good, the food and the ability (or lack thereof) of the chef to be accommodating and slightly flexible was not. I also agree with the comment that the high price of the food isnt reflected in the taste or quality. I had three courses and was disappointed in the appetizer and the entree--the ice cream dessert (salted caramel) was wonderful. For a foodie this wasnt a good choice. If you dont mind spending more than average cash for average food, this is a good choice.

Everything was fantastic! I went with 4 other people and we all shared everything that came to the table, so I feel like I got to taste a lot of what the hand written menu had to offer. I would easily equate the quality and authenticity of the food to anything from your favorite North End spots, or even better might I say? Anyway, I will definitely be back. I knew that when I walked in at 7pm on a Random Tuesday evening and they were slammed, it was going to be good, and it delivered. Now the only problem is I live WAY too close and can walk there if I want. My wallet nor my waste line will be appreciating that very much. See you again soon, Cafe Bella!

A little pricey and a little crowded, but we had a wonderful experience. The staff was courteous and quick. The food was unique, but also comforting in its traditional nature. We had fig and gruyere cheese with prosciutto as an appetizer which was bursting with flavor. I had bolognese with hand cut pasta. The tomatoe sauce was entirely different from my fathers order of gnocchi and sauce. Both were great. For dessert, we had biscotti, cream custard, and cappuccinos. A gem hidden in a strip mall.

Love the wood grilled preparations. Food was good, atmosphere was nice, but if youre looking for a quiet dinner, go elsewhere! It was so loud that my husband and I could barely hear each other. The waitress that was serving tables close by us was loud too. While serving her guests, she was yelling so loud that we could hear her from across the room. Not to mention, the tables are positioned so close that the woman sitting at a table behind me kept hitting my chair.

Great food. Small and cozy. Great waitstaff. I got the tuna steak done rare. The sushi grade tuna came with soy sauce and Wasabi and was the size of a small brick. The grilled zucchini, bean salad, and potatoes were out of this world. Was so excited when it came I forgot to take a picture and just dug in!

I am shocked that hidden in this strip mall is a great authentic Italian restaurant. Once you walk inside you completely forget that you are in a strip. The menu is handwritten which is a bit strange and hard to read if a bit endearing. Definitely stop by if you get a chance

Food here is great but their specials have been the same for a while. Tuna steak, swordfish, and a rotating pasta. For the price, I do expect there to be a noticeable rotation if chefs creations that I just havent noticed in the past year or so.

First off the service is great and the food is wonderful. I had the stuffed chicken and it was so flavorful with potato and summer vegitables. Great local place with great food and dont have to travel into Boston!

The menu was so hard to read- it was like chicken scratch. My party couldnt make out what the menu said so we just decided to leave. The staff was very nice and it was beautiful inside.

Everyone has been praising this place. I was not very impressed. The sky high prices do not reflect the food quality/preparation/ flavor. Very noisy and cramped/crowded
