The Best Coffee in the City! So lets see... in the last four years Ive been to Port City Java over 1,200 mornings to get my Coffee. That should say something for the quality of their product and the skill of their Baristas. I dont care what kind of equipment and beans you have, if your Baristas dont have a passion for pulling shots you get a mundane drink. Thankfully, PCJs Baristas have always taken great pride in their skills for producing the best Coffee drinks in the area (and they have a great machine and beans!). Check out the inside of the shop, youd have to drive to Asheville N.C. to get the same atmosphere! (Maybe they imported it?) This is a Big City feel shop dropped right here in the midst of our good ol Hagerstown. I wish them longevity and prosperity, Hagerstown NEEDS nice shops like this to thrive! Show some support and get the best cupa Joe youve probably had for a long time.

BEST. COFFEE. SHOP. EVER!!! Owned by the best family. Greatest people, greatest coffee, best food, Port City Java is easily my favorite coffee shop around. Even if your not a coffee person, great selection of smoothies and other drinks. Ive been a customer weekly for the last seven years and dont plan on changing anytime soon. The atmosphere is so cozy and friendly. Free wi-fi that ACTUALLY always works, comfy chairs and friendly faces. Great place to always run into friends, grab a cup of joe and catch up or have a small business meeting in their side room. Perfect place for everybody. Every Thursday is open mic night, from music and poetry to stand-up, everyone always has a great time. PET FRIENDLY TOO!!!!! Pretty sure its a job requirement to love dogs. Bowl of water and a treat are always available :) Definitely stop in and trust me... itll become your favorite too :)

Port City Java is the best coffee house in Hagerstown! It has a drive thru and lots of seating inside. The leather chairs are very comfortable. In the winter, they turn on the fire place too. Live music 2 -3 nights a week and a poetry night! I highly recommend this place. To the user who wrote about re-steaming milk. Just so you know, milk can be re-steamed once. It is not a ploy to save money, and all coffee houses do this. If you ever had proper training on making espresso drinks you would know this. After being steamed twice, it can not be re-used.

What can I say? There is no place like this place for excellent coffee! I visit every time I am passing by, and get my wife to bring me coffee whenever I know she is near. The sandwiches and baked goods are excellent also. Its just a really nice place. You can use the drive-thru, but I encourage you to go inside and sit in one of the comfortable chairs while enjoying an official time-out from the hustle of life, all while sipping on the best coffee in town. Indeed!

I love love love Rooster Moon. Amy and the staff are fantastic. I usually go twice a day for my "fix". They have great coffee, tasty food and great little snacks. Try it all, you will not regret going there. Also, it is dog friendly. They have water bowls outside and treats at the drive up window. My dog Zuli and I often "walk up" and they always give her a treat and a little attention. Oh, and try the Nitro cold brew on tap. It is AMAZING!

Rooster Moon is an awesome coffee shop. They are courteous and friendly. The drink combinations are great and change with the season. They have a great sitting area both inside and outside. The coffee is good, with a great flavor. This place has it all, drinks, food, Wi-Fi, and a drive-thru. It is a great local place, better than Starbucks.

Local dive cafe. Super easy going, has occasional events, supports awesome causes. Drinks are handmade. High quality and priced fairly. Always super friendly and accommodating. Not your typical chain coffee place. Tons of coffee, tea, smoothie etc options including food. Things you wont find anywhere else. Love this place!

THE BEST COFFEE IVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. rooster moon also serves a lot of organic stuff and amazing muffins. They have really cute and trendy mugs and shirts for sale inside, too. The atmosphere is super chill and they have an outside patio with doggie bowls for your animals too. I really like this place

Often come here to read or hang out with a few friends. Staff is very good as is the coffee and they have expanded their food menu. There is a variety of seating, regular seats, upholstered chairs, outside seating, and even a bank vault for more private conversations. Used to be a Port Java.

This coffee shop is well hidden and I learned about it through a few locals. On my visit there I was pleasently surprised with the layout and atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and the open mic nights are really nice as well. A really good place to sit back and read a book.

Really great coffee here at this place! Everyone that works here really seems friendly and willing to make the customer happy. Which in my opinion is how you run a business. The sandwiches are great and not overpriced! This is a superb coffee spot!

I am in love with the drinks menu. The option to have a spicier chai is fantastic. I cant get enough of spicy dirty chai lattes. I do frequently switch it up, and have never had a drink Im unsatisfied with. Staff are friendly and competent.

Very cool place with great coffee, good food and friendly staff. The prices are reasonable and the store sells lots of different set and pottery made by local artists. Very cool place and my favorite new coffee spot. 10/10 would recommend

Super good coffee. Convenient drive up. Nice variety. Kids loved the pancakes on a stick. Wife loved the gingersnap latte with free gingersnap cookie. Best coffee shop in Hagerstown (sorry Starbucks).

They reheated milk for my beverage from a pitcher they had already heated once before. That is something Starbucks does to be cheapskates and why their coffee sucks so bad. Recycle plastics, not milk.

Excellent food and coffee!! Love that there is a convenient drive thru in the back! Sometimes there can be a line so make sure you prepare for that if youre in a hurry. Otherwise, awesome place!

The coffee is expensive for the quality. There is a decent assortment of food, and drinks. They offer neat Polish pottery, but nothing made by local crofters or potters.

Nice alternative to the more commercial coffee place. Quant and cozy use of an old bank. The menu has something surely to please everyone.
