We were looking for some amazing vegan restaurants in Louisville and this was one of the top recommendations. And after our experience here, I can understand why. Food: It is a 100% vegan restaurant and has numerous options in terms of coffee, tea, smoothies, salad bowls, sandwiches and some Mediterranean stuff like falafel. We went for Banh Mi with a side of French Toast Bread Pudding and Falafels with a side of Scrambled Tofu. Banh Mi was amazing. The mixture of monkey head and enoki mushrooms with soy protein came across as great and the veggies complemented well. The bread was nice. French Toast Bread Pudding tasted great. Falafels on a whole wheat flatbread were great. What I loved about the whole dish was the proportion of filling to the size of flatbread which ensured no spill and a clean eating experience. Very well thought. However, the flop of the show was Scrambled Tofu which had good spices but was totally missing out on acidity. I would give it a skip the next time. For desserts, we went for Carrot Cake and Peach Ginger Almond Cake. We loved them both. Carrot Cake was a little drier than normal which could be improved. However, in terms of taste, both of them were great. Besides cooked food they also sell items like Red Tea, Kentucky locally brewed Kombucha and Cashew Cheese Sauce. Ambiance: Great and peaceful ambiance. It is not a large place but still has a seating capacity of about 25-30 folks. They have a large table, multiple small tables on the other side and a couple of round tables in the center. The overall ambiance is quite neat. Service: Good service and very friendly staff. We had our order prepared pretty much at the right time. Although the order of the food as it came was quite strange. We got the sides quickly since they were ready and by the time our main order came - Banh Mi and Falafels - we were done with sides. Having said that, the service was good overall. They have sizable parking outside. No specific parking for the restaurant per se but it is a general and free parking for the customers visiting any of the shops of restaurants in the complex. Overall, a great place for an amazing vegan meal in Louisville.

What a great vegan gem in the St. Mathews area! We walked into the cafe and were greeted by the owner, who was very sweet. We both got the fried mushroom drumsticks, which are made of mushrooms and seitan wrapped in tofu skin before being battered and fried and--HOLY MOLY--they were very good! Before we got our food, the owner gave us samples of different items from their hot bar, all of which were delicious. The cafe also has a small area of their store for miscellaneous vegan and all-natural goods to buy and take home. We went a little crazy and got 6 packages of Louisville Vegan Jerky and three tubs of the cafes chocolate chip cookie dough to bring back with us to Cincinnati. To be fair, Half Peach Cafes chocolate chip cookies are everything that I love in a cookie--soft on the inside, slight caramelized crunch on the outside and a light sprinkle of sea salt on top. Oh, and plenty of chocolate of course.

I highly recommend!! This is such a great place to have a bite to eat!! The food is great and is made from scratch with healthy ingredients. I started out with the GF Nacho Bowl (house made nacho cashew cheese was fantastic)and I decided to try a cup of Wonton Soup (wierd combo I know) Both were so good but the best part was the double layer chocolate cake and the strawberry cake..mmmm!!!!!! I stuffed myself and went home to Indiana with 3 Coffee Cake bars LOL! Everyone one was friendly and knowledgeable and the place is super clean..loved it!

The decor is nice and the managers are friendly especially the older woman. Love her!!!! But tbh depending on when you go there they barely have a selection of food. When we went it was empty and the bakery part had nothing really just a cookie, not because they were sold out it seems they only bake on thursdays and the food selection is small. But for what you get it tastes ok. Also the place seemed desolate and had a depressing aura. I had the falafel and the falafel was really hard and difficult to chew.

TONS of Vegan, Gluten, & oil-free choices. The food is AMAZING. And in almost every case better than the dish it is imitating. The owner, Sue is a wonderful woman and she always sells meal trays of leftovers for 1 to 3 dollars. Im talking a 12 to 15 dollar meal for just a few bucks. Also if you go to pay for your already amazingly priced food and she notices you do not have alot of money she will give it to you for free.

My vegan brunch dreams were met here in a big way. The pancakes and biscuits were amazing - hard to make vegan - the price was right - loved the ability to mix items regardless of the size of the plate. On top of everything the staff were so friendly and knowledgeable, passionate about healthy lifestyle and sharing that with folks. The environment was bright, clean and welcoming. This is the first of many times Im sure!

Coming from a self-proclaimed meat lover, this place is amazing. Everything on the menu is vegan and/or vegetarian. My favorite is the spicy chicken sandwich, extremely crunchy and actually pretty toasty on the spice. Wife loves the nacho bowls. Get some of the cookie dough to take home and make, that stuff is fantastic.

Good: * for the health conscious, this is likely the widest all-vegan menu in town * great tasting food and deserts * exceptionally friendly staff Bad: * cant think of anything bad --- other than they need to move to my part of town! ;) Vegan or health conscious lifestyle? This place is a must!

Loved all the fresh, delightful - even Southern!- vegan options. They make their own meat substitutes. Havent had vegan wonton soup since becoming vegan 5 years ago. Amazing!

Not personally a vegan, and thought falafel, Italian sausage, and cookies were great. A great lunchtime option for mixed groups with vegans, vegetarians, and non-vegans, etc.

I stopped by to grab a quick bite. I ended up staying a few hours as the food was very good as well as their smoothies. Price is reasonable and taste is phenominal.

Staff was rude (sarcastic/mocking) and the food was no good. If your vegan you probably know how to make a meal that tastes 10x better than what they make.
