6/12/15 About 8PM. Still not sure what I did or said (or didnt do or say - for that matter) to be ignored at the window upon walking up to place my order. I almost walked out of the place and as I was about to, finally was addressed. Still, Im a friendly and respectful individual. I said hello and placed my order only to have her be short with me and give me attitude. The other big chested girl dropped my order after bagging it and said, "have a nice day"after she noticed that I was about to say something about that. The $8.00 wasnt with the attitude from these two amateurs. If I owned the place (be thankful that I dont) theyd be out of job. Too many people looking for work and these two are destroying a business. Wont be coming back here. The 2 stars are solely for the food which was good. The attitude needs to go.

I read most of the reviews and elected to give it a shot. If you are looking for true smoked Pit BBQ this is not the place to go. I ordered a full rib plate with mac and cheese and collard greens and no drink to eat in and a pulled pork sandwich to go with chips. $12 would have been reasonable but $20 was outrageous especially when the ribs are cooked in a electric cooker, all be at a nice one about $18,000 worth according to one of the employees that I chatted it up with. At $2 per side order they should have been heaping but were modest at best. At the end of the day the place is not bad but its nothing to write home about and certainly not for a True BBQ lover. As for the employees they were all extremely friendly and seemed like genuine people no problems with service at all.

My husband does his own BBQ at home as a hobby so we were anxious to try some Kentucky BBQ as we were passing through on our way to Nashville from Pennsylvania. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the food and service. My husband order a brisket sandwich but did not receive it. Once everyone else in the restaurant had received their food, I politely asked if we did order the brisket sandwich. I was looked at like I was an inconvenience and then the lady threw it up on the counter when she had boxed it. The sides were fantastic, but we were more than disappointed with the meat. Absolutely no flavor to the meat on our sandwiches and the ribs were stringy. Convenient location but definitely wont be the best BBQ youve ever had.

The people that left a great review for the brisket obviously dont know what good brisket is. Brisket is supposed to be cut thick, its supposed to have a smokey flavor, its supposed to have an almost burnt edge where the rub bursts with flavor...what I had here was thin, flavorless and far from BBQD brisket. BBQ sauce is supposed to complement your brisket not give it all its flavor. My husband ordered the pulled pork which he claimed was good. The potato salad was unlike any potato salad Ive had, it was different but good, still I didnt eat much of it maybe because it wasnt what I am used to. Anyways the inside was clean and nicely decorated.

We read a bunch of the reviews. We had no problems with service or the food. My team driver is African American and he said and I quote " if a black man says its good Its good." Lol if we are back this way we will be stopping in again. We had half chicken with baked beans and Mac n cheese and pulled pork sandwich with baked apples and Mac n cheese. Chicken was tender and juicy and falling off the bone. Pork was smoked but not over smoked. It had good flavor and didnt need sauce. I used sauce well because its BBQ. Duh. Sauces were good as well. Indoors seats 30 and outside about 30 more. We sat inside.

Dont waste your money....I truly believe they cook their food in a oven....ordered the 3 meat plate and 4 bones....the brisket was sliced paper thin...being a TEXAN and knowing about BBQ you cant slice brisket that thin if cooked on a smoker....and yes there was grease as well in the to go box...nothing had that BBQ flavor...it was all " just meat". the old woman working the window is not very friendly and needs to work on her social skills....if you never had REAL BBQ then I guess this place will work for you....if you are a fan of REAL BBQ then save your money....$24 wasted dollars here

Lets just say I wouldnt feed this to my dog. Im pretty sure I got food poisoning and Im pretty sure the coleslaw was made out of hygiene products. The bottled drinks had 1$ labels on them and they were sold for 2$. Pretty sure the cashier is going deaf but it might just me. They make their food in a busted rv thats most likely rotting. If your a road tripper DO NOT STOP HERE, there is a mcdonalds and subway right next door and it will also fit the price range. The sandwiches costed 10$ and they were smaller than the palm of a 5 year old childs hand.

We visited there today 5/27/16 for lunch.Made a special trip from Dry Ridge,Ky. We have visited there many times and received excellent BBQ,However today was a completely different story ! The pork was so tuff and tasteless that we could hardly chew it !! Very disappointed with this visit and not sure we will return for another visit !!We have recommended this place to several of our local friends but will refrain from that practice in the future !!!

Nay Nay. I read mixed reviews on this place so we gave it a chance. Let me warn you the Nays have it. We walked in and first off theres no barbecue smell, strike 1. My wife and daughter got the pulled pork, and said that it just okay, strike 2. I had the sliced, flavorless, chewy brisket, strike 3. The only thing I enjoyed was the sauce, their sauce is good, but I will not be returning.

Obviously not the best barbecue in the world, but I dont think it deserves all the hate. The meat is a little underdeveloped flavor wise but the sauce is pretty good. I had collard greens and mac n cheese as sides and those tasted good. As a trucker who doesnt get to eat much real food, this is way better than anything I would have got in the Loves next door.

Stopped in for the first time today. Got 6 bones of ribs as they call them. Very good portion of ribs and the beans are out of the world. Fall of the bones tender meat! I will be stopping again that is a promise. Got the mild sauce and good and thick sweet flavor. Will post a pic of the 6 ribs I got to prove the portion are good. You get your moneys worth.
