I have attempted to contact this bakery to place an order for several days and no one has contacted me. I have left 2 voice mails and send a contact request from the website. I question if this place is still in business (or worth doing business with). I had hoped to order some sea-salt Bagels and other goodies to take to my friend, with brain cancer, in NC that loves them (when she lived here in Lexington), Thursday afternoon. Does anyone know if they have moved or out of business?

The sourdough is amazing, as are all of their breads. And the croissants! Also a great sandwich. The cheese sandwich is my favorite (vegetarian, and comes with olives on the side, which the meat sandwiches do not). My husband prefers the Special sandwich (not to be confused with the Sandwich of the Day). Always delicious. Cash only.

Everything about this bakery is GOOD! The owners, employees, and atmosphere is amazing. The beautiful baked goods are on display right when you walk in making you want to try one of everything! If I lived downtown I would be there everyday. My sandwich of the day was so delicious I didnt even take the time to take a picture!

If you get the chance to go here on it is delicious. The sandwich of the day is always good. Their meats are paired perfectly with all the sandwich ingredients. The prosciutto was great. Going before heading down to the farmers market on Sunday is something I would highly recommend.

Wednesdays come and Im chomping at the bit to get a sandwich from Sunrise on Thursday. Love the anisette cookies in particular, though they have a great selection, and the big cinnamon rolls are such a treat on Saturdays.
