The food and Icecream is over priced for what it is, especially when a 1/3 lb hamburger "before cooked weight" is $4.75 and thats not including a drink or fries and the burgers are well cooked but only about the size of a hockey puck, seems a little expensive when you can go down the road to McDonalds and get a double cheeseburger fries and drink for same price. I also enjoy there tornadoes or "dairy Queens blizzards" but yet again for what your paying you can go to McDonalds down the street and get a mcflurry which is the same thing only not as many candy ingredient choices to choose from and it half the price and just as good. Granted you dont have the 50 style diner feel at Mc Donalds but service is a lot faster, the last thing that upsets me is I like to order my food to go, a lot of times especially the past few weeks nobody answers the phone so I can make a phone order and Ive heard from others that they will just not open some days with no explanation to there customers. Dont get me wrong, this is a very good resturaunt, the food is good, the service is friendly when open but needs lower prices, more consistency with there hours of operation, and more of a selection when it comes to food otherwise, great, fun place to take the family or grab a quick meal

Usually I have good luck with this place, but ever since they hired teenagers I have gotten horrible service. My kids and I were in there last night, they were packed with teenagers only had 2 people working the counter (teen boy and teen girl). The manager / owner was busy filling up the soft serve machine. The teen girl took my kids order (small tornado cookie dough and small tornado kit kat $4.50 each, totaling $9). Once my kids got their order I ordered a smore malt (I get this every time I go there). The teenage girl made my malt. It was missing the marsh mellows, fudge, graham crackers and she didnt even fill the cup all the way. I mean how she filled it, she might as well have said she gave me half a cup of ice cream. I ordered a large not a small or half a cup! I was livid and I hate crowds so I paid and just left. This morning my husband checked our account to find that the Firehouse charged us $24.08 for 3 ice creams!!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! I am calling them up today cause I know the owners and I am going to complain like there is no tomorrow and demand a refund for all of it!!

Great place to take the family and get some awesome ice cream. Perry doesnt have a place that serves soft ice cream besides the fast food joints. Has good food to eat and the best part is the prices arent bad. Take the family and have a good time

The ice cream was pretty good, but the difference between the medium and small ice cream cones of hard ice cream was nothing, both were one tiny scoop. The soft serve was the same way. For what you pay, it is extremely not worth it

Burgers are great! If you ask for a malt they actually use malt powder! And our kids love their kids cones with sprinkles and eyes! Plus, they only charge .25 for them.
