This is a great place to grab breakfast, brunch or lunch. Their bagels fresh made every day and they have a full variety of pastries. Their sandwiches are top notch my favorite is the vegetarian with hummus on one of their extra large croissants. They make about 6 types of cream cheese with my favorite being the garlic and herb. If you’re like enough garlic to give you a little burn this is the spread for you. Other spreads include veggie cream cheese, Bacon & Chive, Chocolate Chip, Blueberry, etc. Their sides are excellent probably the best egg salad Ive ever had, I also hear their macaroni salad is excellent. Some of the best pickles Ive ever had as well. I always buy a few to take home. Tho Ive never tried them, their salads are MONSTROUS, and I see a ton of folks ordering them so I bet theyre good. Great prices too I had a Vegetarian sandwich, pickle, side of egg salad and a soda for about $5.75 Long story short, GO THERE! Nuf said.

I really should have given it a 1 or 2 stars review based on my one and only visit today, but since I get the feeling that the only reason for that is the girl who was taking and making my order, I can just hope that she is not the owner, and that she will either be trained better or replaced. She never smiled for a second, she made it look like she is really uncomfortable taking my order (even though the place was empty at the time of my visit) and then after leaving the place with my take out, I found a nice surprise in the form of a sandwich that looked like somebody took a bite of, and a cappuccino that didnt taste like good coffee at all. But, again, it was her behavior that just ruined it for me. The place itself looks really nice and the location is good.

5th Street Bagels has the best bagels chips I have ever had, and Ive tried a lot of different kinds! My whole family loves them. The coffee is good, but not great. The sandwiches and soups are generally very good, but they tend to be overpriced. I love the atmosphere and the free wi-fi, but the one real downside is that the employees are frequently very rude. Not all of them, just some--Ive encountered some very polite employees there.

If youre looking for a place to park and get some work done, or to have lunch, or a low-key meeting, I would highly recommend this place. Plentiful seating, ecclectic decorations, pleasant service, fantastic food are all what I think makes this cafe so successful. This is one of those really cool hole in the wall places to visit.

Good food, but poor service, 3 of the 6 coffees were empty by 12pm with no urgency from the staff to refill them. Charged for a bagel that I didnt even pay for and wouldnt give a refund or replacement bagel. This place could be good but lacks any management or motivated workers. They were even out of decaf coffee.

A terrific place to enjoy a homemade bagel and great choice of hot tea and coffee. Nice place for a meeting or just chatting with a friend. The staff is super friendly. It seems like I always bump into other locals starting their day with a deicious treat at the bagel shop.

Great bagels as well as lunch food and inconsistantly great coffee. However, the service is absolutely terrible. I live very close and have gone quite often. The employees have been rude and stand-offish on many occasions.
