Horrible food!! Fish was full of grease and over cooked. Clams were very chewy. Waitress was using furniture polish on the walls and then sat the can of polish on the tables and towel she was using to wipe the polish on the walls also was sat on the tables. As you can see them in the pictures. Never coming back here again. I travel for a living and hope I never see this place again.

It is I and my wife Jackys favorite place to eat! Southern style ribs, steak, catfish, creole gumbo, jambalaya, the list goes on and on. The atmosphere is homey and pleasant. The staff is very friendly and youre known by your first name. The alcohol selection is limited, but does include bottled beer and also a selection of very good wine from J&Js Winery in Richmond IN.

The potatoe skins were overcooked, maybe even microwaved, the ribs were about 75% to 80% fat, the cheesecake was bland, frozen, and had a greasy feeling along with the peanut butter pie, and the baked beans tasted like a bowl of cajun seasoning. On the other hand the sweet potatoe fries and the cottage cheese were great, but I wouldnt come back here to eat if the food was free.

Food is very good. Some Louisiana dishes like Gumbo, Red Beans and Rice, and Blackened Fish. Thats probably why some people complained in their review that their food was burnt. Louisiana likes their Blackened. Also some of their food is grilled. Food prices is about average of that type of restaurant. Not too expensive. I would eat there again.

Always good food. The BLT club is the best sandwich ever! Carrie is the best of the wait staff but all are friendly and helpful. Quality is top notch and prices are very competitive especially for the portion sizes. We ate at one of the other dining places in town for breakfast and was more expensive for a lesser meal. We always return.

We went here for the first time. It was so good. My husband got the salmon, (it had the best smoked flavor) my daughter got pulled pork (was tender, juicy & awesome flavor & Im not much of a pork eater) I got chicken dupree without the bread. It was very good, tender chicken great tasting! Will definitely be back

I really enjoyed our meal. Awesome fried chicken with a little kick, good Cole slaw which is not easy to find, good mash potatoes and gravy, interesting green beans, ok pecan pie- nice to have ice cream with it, really good decaf. Just a great southern country dinner- yummy. Go have a good meal.

Do not go here. There is nothing southern about this restaurant except the music piped in. I ordered the clam dinner, after forcing a few down I quit and just ate my baked potato and coleslaw. They were OK. And the photo on Google Maps for this place are just wrong.

They have a cajun theme but have a lot of American choices. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Healthy choices. Daily specials. Friendly service. Like the Bayou Chicken sandwich. Best breakfast in town.

They only had one waitress and they ran out of everything. The soft drinks were even out. The food was cooked in what tasted like old grease and even made us sick throughout the night.

If you happen to be travelling through. Be sure to stop for their BLT. You will be happily surprised that a restaurant still understands bacon and the love for it. Worth every penny.
