I went in the other night around 7:45 pm thru the drive thru and ended up waiting 20 minutes for the food no joke. When I got home and opened up the skimped hoagie it was very dry with very little to no oil or seasonings the bread was really toasted almost burnt that it scratched my mouth up trying to eat it and the meat had not been broken up and cooked thoroughly it was like a they just threw the meat puck on the grill and pressed down on it to try and cook it faster or something. It seems that the night time employees just seem to be in a rush to get out of there. I personally will not be going back anymore and will not be recommending this place to anyone anymore. Its ridiculous the way the employees behave and they basically close it down whenever they want so dont ever trust whatever their schedule on the door might say. They should really consider hiring some people with some kind of personality or enthusiasm for there brand and products. What does it cost them to say thanks for coming in or have a nice day? Started getting sick the last few times I went there and I noticed they dont use gloves when preparing the food so yeah Im done with this place for good.

Quintessential hole in the wall food dive. Dont bother eating inside, there is no room. Youre not there for the atmosphere anyway, youre there for the Cheese Steak and Bacon Hoagie. Go through the drive through, make sure you yell your order at the guy taking it, take your hoagie home and bask in its glory. Make sure to get a couple of the hot sauces to go to. Classic, stick to your stomach for a week, eaten best when in the company of friends and preferably inebriated type food. Waukegan National Treasure.

This used to be a fantastic sandwich. Been going there for over twenty years. Went there today and got a cheese steak hoagie. Bread was stale, meat was old , cheese was almost non-existant and was covered with at least a pound of sliced onion. Would have gone back, but was on my way to Chicago. Will not bother to stop here again in this lifetime.

Youd be hard-pressed to find a better Philly Steak hoagie for the price. Ive been going here since I was a little kid, and Ive never had something I didnt like. One thing I will say is they are really short with customers. Doesnt bother me much but people who havent been there before might be turned off by how rude they can come across as.

One of the best sandwich shops in Waukegan, if not the best. Their corned beef hoagie is the best Ive had around here. The service is OK, and the store itself isnt that pretty to look at. I thought the place was closed down for a long time. But Im glad I stopped in to see.

Grabbed my honey some lunch and the service was good but the food was horrible. His sandwich was dry, his tea was gross. I ordered a pizza puff, how can you go so wrong it was super greasy and bitter. Yes bitter about as bitter as the tea was. So sad use to love this place.

I have going here for years and love the cheese steak hoagie! I was in Philly a few weeks back and had to try Pats Philly cheese steak, HORRIBLE!!! Hoagie Hut hands down the best I have ever had and beats the "original"!

Went to the one in high wood as a kid... Its like White Castle once you get that crave. I make a biannual pilgrimage from the city to get down on a Chicago cheesesteak hoagie and one to go. Best sandwich on the planet

Best Hoagies anywhere. They used to have a location in Palatine, sadly it closed. Whenever I have business in Waukegan, I go there and get a couple of sandwiches to go. Love the place.
