HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE..... I have been going to Silverlake for YEARS, ( at least once a week) and I always order my dinners with No Vegetables because they put to many in their dinners., On the Kung Pow dinners, I also ask for no water chestnuts, and I clearly list NO VEGETABLES , NO WATER CHESTNUTS, I DO WANT PEANUTS. After them always getting it wrong, by leaving out the peanuts, I called after I placed it online and specifically asked for the peanuts. NOT only did they forget the peanuts AGAIN, there was not even a half of a container of food. I called Silverlake and talked to the manager(It was a male). After I explained everything to him, I said I only received 4 shrimps, he said "you get 8" and if you dont like it, you can go somewhere else" right out of out of the gate.. I replied with " what did you say?" and he repeated himself. I then recounted my shrimp and I had 5, (one was in the sauce), and told him that he needs to back to Cooking school in China and relearn how to distribute correct portions. Needless to say they lost a customer.

I went there at the suggestion of my girlfriend, Her and her family love it. We ordered a few things. The egg rolls were home made but not crisp, and rather soggy. Nothing special on the insides, just mostly peanut butter and cabbage. Fried Rice was ok, not a ton of flavor but not bad. Kung Pao Shrimp was ok too, would have been really good but only a few very small pieces of shrimp. I like that you can order it Mild, medium or hot. I got hot. It wasnt that hot. I ate it no prob. Egg Foo Yung was normal. Probably will look for other options although place was clean too.

My family and I have been coming here for years. Every time I try another place the food may be a bit cheaper but the food is terrible. This is the best in the area!!! I get there barbaque pork egg foo young or the barboque pork fried rice most the time It is amazing! Also like the beef Lo mein. Just discovered they have the best chicken nuggets anywhere. They are huge and with a delicious tempura breading served with a large portion of french fries. So now I can bring my little grand kids here too. ! The staff is always nice and friendly.

I ordered pot stickers, crab rangoon, sweet and sour chicken, and fried rice. This place used to be my go to for generic Chinese food and I havent been there in a few years. Well my pot stickers tasted like they were put in a microwave. The bottom of them were rock hard and could possibly chip a tooth (my dog wouldnt even eat them). The crab Rangoon was decent nothing special and the sweet and sour chicken was mostly breading with bits of chicken in it. I feel that they are a little pricey for reheated food. Ill look for another "spot".

Poor quality Chinese restaurant.. The food quality has been going down hill while the prices go up. The General Ts and Orange chicken is merely deep fried fat with lots of breading and nearly no meat. The beef fried rice has nearly no beef. When ordering spicy, it I mild at best.

Ive lived in the area for 4 years now. We have ordered Chinese from multiple places multiple times. This by far is the best Chinese food I have ever had! Everything was nice and hot when it arrived, arrived earlier than anticipated, great service, and Incredibly tasty!

The food is fantastic. The staff is super attentive and make it a friendly, family atmosphere. We have been frequent guests over the last year, but the remembered us from Day 1. We pass at least a dozen Chinese restaurants to get here, but the drive is worth it!!

Really good place to enjoy some freshly made Chinese food! I love the crab Rangoons and the egg foo yung ... the server Xia (Cristina ) is always nice and attending to our needs . This place is always nice to come back to this place!

My whole immediate family has been going to Silverlake four years we absolutely birthdays or anytime the staff is wonderful the food is great I cant complain I probably could eat there EVERYDAY !!!

I ordered take-out, including egg rolls, and there werent any sauce packets (soy, seeet&sour, etc.). The almond cookies were quite hard and a bit brown, and there wasnt a fortune cookie.

I ordered fish fillet large on 8/9/16. Its not good, only 1/4 is fish fillet and 3/4,are just bell peppers and onions. This order is not even worth 1 star

I cant rate it a 4, but 3 isnt good enough. For Chinese it seems a little greasy and the ingredients could be fresher.
