Burger is very tiny. Looks like 2 punces. Extremely oversalted. Bun was dry and hard. Tomato slice was very unripe. Asked for a Salted Caramel Shake. Was told by the General Manager that they ate put of Salted Caramel. It was ordered a few weeks back. I ordered a Butter Finger Shake. After 2 draws on the straw I realized the shake was tasteless. Didnt have any Butterfinger. Didnt taste like vanilla ice cream. The shake was thin, liquidy. I went to the General Manager to ask for a refund on the shake. He said he couldnt give a refund but handed me a coupon for a free burger. I had no intention of returnung here again to eat, so I wasnt happy with a coupon for a free burger. I wasnt in the mood to stand my position and argue about a shake, so I took the coupon and left. The 4 to 5 tables around me were dirty had uneaten food fries on the seating area. The restaurant in general needs a good cleaning, floors and windows. An unappetizing place to be. Avoid this place. There are alot of great burger places in and around Oak Lawn.

My husband and I stopped in at the Smashburger on 95th Street in Oak Lawn today for lunch. He had a bacon cheeseburger and fries and I had a grilled chicken sandwich on a gluten free bun and fries. His cam ou first and everything was fine. Hot sandwich done exactly as he requested and nice hot fries. Mine came out right after and the chicken sandwich was perfect. After eating some of the fries, I felt that they had been over salted. I asked my husband what he thought and he agreed. So I told the server and he apologized and brought me some fresh, very hot and unsalted fries. All with a smile and an apology. I will admit that I did not make a big deal out of the whole situation and approached it with a smile. I also made sure to thank the staff for being so nice. We have eaten here a few times and will continue to be customers. I just wanted Smashburger to know that their employees gave extremely good customer service. Thank you. Nancy Armstrong

The Smashburger on 95th St. in Oak Lawn, Illinois, is one of my all-time favorite places to eat. A smidge more expensive than the fare at a typical burger joint, but these entrees are anything but typical. My personal favorite would have to be the Buffalo & Blue Cheese crispy chicken sandwich. A made to order, HUGE, crispy, hot & juicy chicken breast patty, slathered in Franks RedHots buffalo sauce & blue cheese crumbles, then topped with lettuce, tomato & mayo on an egg bun. (My mouth waters every time I think of it!) And if that doesnt sound appetizing enough, there are plenty more options to choose from. Most notably would be their huge, delicious burgers, of course, but they also have salads & grilled chicken sandwiches in addition to the crispy. All in all, go try for yourself. 10/10

Used to really like smash burger but they changed the beef, per an employee. We ordered the regular smash and it was "off." Eating the burger and it tasted spoiled and there was an unpleasant smell. I spoke with the mployee and he stated the chain changed from chuck or sirloin, dont remember which, to a ground beef with different seasonings. He also mentioned the packages of meat have an off smell (theyre not spolied) when they open them. I asked him to tell corporate it was a bad change. He said to leave feedback, which I did on July 4 and I have not received any acknowledgement. Have turned down my email alerts for buy one get one. May return for some of the salads and rosemary fries. So disappointing.

I visited SmashBurger with my husband and son after a visit to the Oak Lawn Children’s museum (it’s within walking distance). I know SmashBurger is a chain, but I had never been to one and didn’t quite know what to expect – except for the burgers, of course. I ordered a Classic Smash while my husband ordered the Classic Chicken – both were exceptional. In fact, I’d even say that I liked the taste of the chicken better than the burger! My preschooler had the kid’s burger meal and there wasn’t a single complaint about anything. Overall, a great spot to enjoy a burger!

Burgers are thin but juicy. Crafted with care and pretty tasty, but their fries are thin stick fries, not normal fries. Inside is pretty new and trendy. Burgers cost between $6 and 7, so theyre a little pricey. They also have chicken sandwiches in grilled or crispy. Their side salad for $3 is worth it as an alternative to fries! They have a kids menu with a few meals: hot dog, chicken tenders (which are really good) or grilled cheese with a small fry and drink for $5. Overall, I found its a nice experience but a little on the pricey side.

Cashier had lazy attitude. He would not accept my ID for a beer because it was out of state and didnt know what to do. It was a virginia ID if you know IDs the current virginia ID is one of the hardest to fake. Raised lettering, hologram, see through photo... and his co-worker said it was real as he was from virginia and still didnt want to sell me the beer... I told him I would take my business elsewhere and thats what I did when he didnt ask for a manager or anything. .. just "sorry" just lazy. Dont yawn when I walk in the door .

This is one of the best burger joints I have ever tried, I enjoyed the fact that they have whole wheat options and fried egg. I try to do fast food as healthy as possible so when I was able to order veggie fries along with the whole wheat bun. The server was off the chain he had the patience of I dont know what because I had no idea what I wanted, so he gave me options based on what I normally eat. If you are looking for a better option to an unhealthy oily burger try this spot.

Onion haystack was decent, burgers were light on meat and didnt hold together very well and they charged $1.29 just for mushrooms on burger...the shoestring fries werent much to taste.... next time I pay more then 5-GUYS I would expect at least the same quality... to conclude this review, I recommend 5-GUYS.... P.s. 5 doesnt charge for their whole lot of toppings...

Often cant find a table not because they are busy but because they are full of the trash left by previous diners. Staff will be sitting in a booth beside the front counter chatting with each other as trays and garbage fill most of the tables. When the tables are eventually cleaned, its is done very poorly. Prices are also somewhat higher than they should be

Ordered the avocado black bean burger and was not satisfied. I only ate it because I didnt want to waste my money. It was full of salt on one side. No seasoning -- no flavor. The fries were just as bad, full of salt. One word---HORRIBLE! Im sorry I wasted my money. The staff is great except when they sweep right by your table as you eat, smh.

Ordered a bacon cheeseburger and my friend a chicken avocado sandwich which were very salty! I took two bites and said NO! Ordered my kids chicken tenders and they were so burnt and salty. Place was not busy for them to make a mistake. First time I came in 2015 and the food was great! now its garbage. Not worth my $50.
