My husband and I have been going to the bar/restaurant for as long as I remember. Great food, beer and customer service. Until recently, we also found out they had a private area for parties. This came in just in time for us since I was looking for a small but classy location to hold our twin daughters baptism reception. Words are not enough to express how much of a great experience we had. If you have been to the bar you would probably think the private area would be similar, but the room was very classy! Not to say the bar is bad, but it has a very different feel to it. You need to see it for yourself. Overall, Dottie and her staff were and are awesome. If you have a small event you want to plan please make this a place to look into. The food was excellent and at a reasonable price. I think Dottie and I became great friends while planning the event! They are very accommodating. The staff even helped with setting up lovely rose centerpieces for us and a very pretty desert table. They had an event before ours and I am very surprised at how quickly and seamlessly they were able to set up our event. My family is Mexican, hence we have a couple traditions we wanted to hold at the event, although the location is small they made it all happen - including clearing out some tables for some dancing. Overall, Dottie and her staff were and are awesome. If you have a small event you want to plan please make this a place to look into.

When it comes to suburban hang outs, this is definitely one of the better places out there. The enclosed patio offers customers the option to enjoy the summer heat without being exposed to the busy traffic on 95th street. The indoors is dim and cozy with a very cool wrap around bar that offers plenty of seating. The food is not what you expect from your typical bar...its actually good! Their wraps and sandwiches are freshly made and their burgers are delicious as well. Their beer selection is great for a suburban bar. They have many micro brews on tap and they frequently get new beers in to try. They also have a full list of seemingly creative cocktails if you are into martinis and mixed drinks. I have only ever had one bad experience with the wait staff, but other than that time the waitresses have been phenomenal and attentive. They will quickly offer a suggestion if you are between two options on the menu, and they are willing to let you sample anything on tap before you spend 6 bucks on a beer you might hate. Their prices are fair for what you are getting. Sure they arent as cheap as the typical suburban bar, but other bars dont have their selection. The food is affordably cheap as well. I have been here many times and it is always a great option if you want to get together with friends for good food and good drinks without paying downtown prices or having to deal with unnecessary noise.

Deja Brew is a little place located in the central business district of Oak Lawn just outside of Chicago. My girlfriends parents eat there frequently and we decided to take their advice when in town visiting. The first thing you notice when you walk in is the massive bar. Its a horseshoe with a wing. They have a good list of domestic and imports on tap as well as a huge martini selection. We stopped in early so there werent a whole lot of people in there yet, so we grabbed a table near the bar and ordered dinner. I ordered a hamburger with cheddar and a side of the hot chips on a recommendation. The hot chips made the meal. Theyre thick cut potatoe chips/fries with a cajun seasoning. My mouth was on fire! The heat was just enough and gave the potatoe a great flavor. The burger was juicy and a pretty good size, so I didnt leave hungry. My girlfriend got the cajun spiced chicken breast sandwhich and the hot chips. Good thing she had that Shamrock Martini to cool things down a little! The chicken wasnt blackened, but they used a real heavy cajun seasoning as if they were blackening. The piece she tore off for me was delicious. Deja Brew is a favorite of the coupe who recommended it to me and I can see why. The food is great and its a great bar atmosphere.

There are so many great things about this place, I dont even know what to list first. My fiance and i were recommended this bar after we moved to the area. After one visit, (the Hawks happen to be playing that night) we fell in love. The people there are friendly and will totally joke with you, the beer selections is the best around and always changing, the food is GREAT. The steak wraps, italian beef flatbread, chicken sandwiches are Awesome! I keep trying new things and liking everything i eat and drink. The layout of the place is perfect, TVs where in just the right spots, everywhere you need to see them. There is a beer garden, A BEER GARDEN, with a TV outside. If anything you have to at least go just once, if you dont its your own fault.

Waitresses were nice and did good but the woman that claimed to be the owner was unbelievably disrepectful and unprofessional. After spending over $200 she stormed over to our table and started verbally attacking us for taking small fliers from the bathroom that their were numerous of. She gave no warning , just came at us swearing and kicked us out. Bad business owner . I will never return and I will make sure everyone I know avoids that place. I will not support a business whos owner will disrespect cutomers simply for taking fliers that seemed meant to be taken so we could plan to return for that event. Unbelievable experience. Went down the street to St.James Place. Thats where you should go. Great staff there.

over all it was a good experience. i went during a hawks game. i felt that it was a bit over priced. i got the nachos and added chicken which on the menu said pile high with chicken and what i got was less then a half of a chicken breast of chicken . which for appetizer meant for sharing seemed a little skimpy. it was mostly lettuce and cheese sauce. the wings i had were good with the sweet chili and cilantro. and they do have a good selection of scotch and whiskey. one last thing was i wished they put the sound through the in house speakers so you can hear the game. barely could hear the game which i found weird since it was a playoff game and most of the people in the bar were hawks fans

This bar is fine. Great concept and the food was pretty good. Reminds me of the bars I would go to when I was living on the north side. Went in for dinner on a Friday night. Getting a table was ok the server was ok but the thing that drove me up the wall is when I was in there at 7:30 the music was on ten. I was eating dinner with my wife and we had to yell over the music to have a conversation. Now you might be like dude how old are you that is not a big deal and during bar hours not dining hours I would agree it was just a little much. Will most likely give it another shot but wasnt blow away.
