This is the best breakfast restaurant I have ever been to. We are from Arizona and were staying nearby; we heard about this place from the locals and tried it out. Our experience was so great that we went back the next day again, unfortunately that was our last day or we would have gone again. The service was excellent and the food was even better! Over the 2 days we tried all 4 of the egg Benedicts, the traditional breakfast, the waffle, the pancake, and 2 of the omelets. Personally I loved the Southern eggs Benedict with the cheese girts! Their hot green tea was also a huge hit at our table. I truly wish they would open on in Arizona; I would be a regular customer if they did! If you are in Libertyville you have to try Egg Harbor Cafe, you won’t be disappointed with anything you get!!!

On a whim came here this morning, knowing it was Sunday expected a wait. Honestly the wait was only about 15 minutes so not bad at all. The service was prompt and great, the whole staff works together as a team which made it so much more enjoyable. The food, well, the food is amazing. We got the bacado omelet and the down home skillet. Everything tasted incredible from the great coffee to the home made jam(you need this in your life) its one of the best places weve eaten in a while and it seems only fitting to us transplants that one of the best places weve found to eat since moving down here is from wisconsin. Will definitely be back!

Egg Harbor Cafe is a great location for breakfast and lunch. Breakfast include typical pancakes, eggs, and skillets. For lunch you can try the crepes, soup, salads, and sandwiches. One of my favorite sandwiches is the Door County Melt. This is chicken salad with dried cranberries, pecans, and apples melted with cheese and served with delicious potato pancackes. With great menu options you will find something to please all!

previously used tables were cleared then wiped down with a "dirty towel" carried on hip & no disinfectant spray, even used same towel to wipe down window sill & chair seats at tables!!!!!! yuck!!! Used water pitcher from previously used tables were just topped off & reset on tables. (sneezed across & little children hands!!!) another yuck!!!! Will not return to this Egg Harbor.

Best staff around! Very friendly and attentive. Cute breakfast spot in the heart of Libertyville. Serves great coffee in carafes left at the table and offers takeout cups. Eggs are friendly free range and menu offers many choices including Benedict, scrambles, skillets, crepes, waffles, pancakes, French toast and other favorites.

Havent ate at Egg harbor for about 3 years, quality and portions have sure shrunk, chicken salad was really dry needs more sour and mayo forsure, salad needed a lot more dressing could barley taste it , service has defentily changed, not sure if that was a good idea, overall its still my favorite place to eat.

Awesome place for Saturday/Sunday breakfast. Ive been going to Egg Harbor in Libertyville for a few years now and really enjoy it. However, the coffee recently has been terrible - it tastes like the caraffes arent washed. Ive complained to management and it hasnt improved - food awesome; coffee undrinkable.

Our familys go to place. Never a bad experience. They train their people really well. Coffee is great. Strawberry Orange juice is the best!! A great variety in the menu. Nice cozy atmosphere. The pumpkin coffee is to die for,! Food is always delicious! No special request has ever been a problem!!!

Wonderful service staff and fast kitchen personnel made for a delightful dining experience. Despite being busy, we didnt find ourselves waiting long, and the food is good, we eat gluten free and there were no problems. We did have a mixup with our order but it was fixed super fast.

Ive always had a good experience there. The food, atmosphere, and service are all great. You have to try the mocha java. As all brunch/lunch places go, getting there before 9am on the weekends is better. Though it gets busy later in the morning, seating is usually efficient.

It is obvious. The effort to be the best displays itself from the moment you enter...until the time you leave. But we go out to eat -- to eat, right? This is by far, the best breakfast in town --- just get there early.

It was my first visit to EHC. We had to wait for half an hour but serving was fast. We ordered the pan cakes and coffee with harbor potato. Everything was delicious and we will definitely go there again.

It is a bit noisy. The staff is nice and the food is good. The prices are a little high. What keeps me away is the noise, it just seems to echo. Kids screaming, etc. Maybe thats just us.

Great food and nice environment. Usually very crowded on mornings but it is a first come first serve so if you get there earlier it isnt as bad. Usually about a fifteen minute wait.

Awesome breakfast joint! Not quite as good as wild berry, but you can sit, order and eat in the time it takes you to get a table at wild berry on the weekend.

It was delicious, but there was a long wait and your whole party has to be there before you are seated. And its a bit pricy for breakfast food.

cant believe how fast the service was. We ordered and got our food before my first cup of coffee was done. The eggs Benedict was fantastic!
