It was a nice place to try and I enjoyed the staffs hospitality; from the moment we walked into the restaurant everyone was very attentive. If you are looking for a quick way to eat because you got some other commitments afterwards, I highly recommend stopping by before 5PM. The place appears to get very busy after 5pm and parking seems to be a problem after such time. Before 5pm, parking is a breeze and the place doesnt appear to be too busy. I thought it was a bit pricey but the food was great. Cynthia, our waitress, was great and attentive. Staff stopped by to check on how our meal tasted and how well it was cooked. I got the NY Steak and my wife got the bistro steak sandwich. Out of the two, I would recommend the bistro steak sandwich instead. Pair it with one of their wines (they have an extensive list of wines from around the world, which is great).

Dropping daughter off to Lake Forest College. Needed lunch on a Sunday, found Grille 43, decided to check it out. We had the Prime Burger and the Baja Fish Tacos and split it between the 3 of us. Both dishes were excellent, tasty, hot and prompt. I was a little hesitant to pay $18 for a burger but both items were well worth it! Our server was friendly and very nice. Definitely recommend Grille43, do not let the prices keep you away, worth it for perfectly prepared delicious meals!

This is a great addition to the area. I have only been there once for lunch a couple of weeks after it opened, but was pleasantly surprised. They have an extensive and unique menu that is sure to please anyone without being overpriced. All of the workers were extremely friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. I highly recommend the flatbreads and look forward to revisiting this restaurant.

Sonic Affair

Finally a place which is actually good in this area. Food is well made and of good portion. They have a great selection of food and drinks which would be comparable to a few places in the city. Definitely has a more urban feel compared to the other places in this area. Fish tacos were phenomenal! Excellent choices on salad. Happy hour has 1/2 off on appetizers. Great place to chill.

It was close and we were hungry so we tried quite a few things. In the end, we noticed a trend towards sweet instead of savory on just about everything from Avocado Toast to the Fries. Not sure what the thought is but the flavors were not really balanced.

Calamari with roasted red peppers and banana peppers was awesome. Pork tenderloin with red wine sauce was excellent also, very tender almost melted in your mouth. Nice and cozy atmosphere, definitely will be returning for more!!!

I had the best Reuben sandwich of my life. This place has very good food, however it is very small and loud. Parking is valet and super crowded. Pricing is on the high end, but so is the food. Definitely recommended.

Pricy, though probably average for Chicago area full service restraunts. Their food was also average though they did their best to make it LOOK gourmet. In my opinion, they fell a little short there as well.

If you want First-class Food along with First-class service. Grill 43 has Burgers that Dont look or taste like preformed patties. I would truly say they have the best burgers in town. Way to go Grill 43!

My experiences over this place has been just ok. I feel food is pricey for the taste. However I like to order desserts to go from there. They have a good collection of them.

Definitely a well kept local secret - food was amazing! Make sure to try the drunken shrimp (but you really cant go wrong with any of the appetizers).
