Had my daughters baby shower there January 8. Janet met with me and we discussed the days expectations. She answered all my e-mails and questions with patience and worked with me to make sure every detail was in place. As we had the required minimum amount of guests to have the "fireplace" room to ourselves, she graciously accommodated my wishes for an early arrival for decorating (I showed up 2.5 hours early). She gave me two wonderful servers for the event. Christine and Becca were so very efficient and were on top of all guest requests. They were extremely professional and very friendly. I didnt have a worry in the world with clearing away of plates and debris; the staff was professional, efficient and unobtrusive. And the food? O.M.G. The beef sirloin and chicken vesuvio were cooked to perfection! I ordered two different types of salads and they were crisp, loaded with goodies and the dressings were so complimentary. The stuffed shells.... so tender and fluffy. I always worry whether they will come out dry. You did NOT need extra sauce for them. So yummy. Hands down, the best restaurant shells I have had to date. (microwaved them the next day and they were STILL good :) The corn souffle (out of this world; not heavy) and julienne vegetables were also cooked with care. The julienne veggies were seasoned perfectly as a side dish and perfect to top the meats if you wanted! The guests ooohd and ahhhd and my daughter enjoyed an afternoon of absolute joy! They had set the tables up for me perfectly and moved a couple of tables around on request :). I was treated like family and definitely will be back. Many of my guests requested information for having their events there in the future! Days later and Im still getting calls about how much my guests enjoyed the venue and food!"

So i get off at OHare and didnt want to go to some franchise so i looked on google to find a good local hot spot. The name stuck out like a sore thumb and caught my attention in a good way since im from Texas. Even though i had to sit in tons of traffic to get there it was worth it. Very Very cool inside, plenty of space, good atmosphere and a huge bar. The waitress at the bar was very helpful. She told me all about the beers. I ended up trying the Flight deck which was four 5oz beers of the week. Did i mention they have dozens of beers? yeah DOZENS and several were on draught. I ate Hot wings also in a variety. They have 4 kinds and my favorite were Asian and bbq.

HUGE Cheese Panzerotti Pizza Puff had excellent taste, I had added sausage, Chicken Quesadillas were top of my list with flavor/tastiness! Beef Taco Wrap was looking beautiful but lacked flavor, was packed with meat which was impressive! Cheese Sticks were nothing special either, no flavor with their sauce either. Service was excellent, quick and accurate and friendly. Tons of TVs so you wont miss any action on any sport you want to view. Open atmosphere, seat yourself drink your beers and enjoy your dinners! Will be back again.

Countryside has a great atmosphere. It is very lodge-esque especially with the new beautiful addition. I go in there quite frequently, and have to say that the food is great! Especially the thin crust pizza. Its always a fun place to hang out and catch a game....plenty of flat screen tvs! The staff is always friendly and spunky. Its family own, and run which I think is awesome! Definitely a great place to hang out locally in the NW burbs.

I worked here for four years through high school and about half of college, and I think Ive tried everything on the menu. Pizza is amazing, possibly the best in the Northwest burbs. Everything is housemade, and delicious. Beer/liquor is a little pricey, but you cant go wrong with splitting a pizza with some people.

Stopped here for a couple of drinks with some friends to just chat and hang out. The patio was a nice place to be, inside could get a little noisy. The food is good, and they have gluten free options which was nice to see. Will definitely stop by this local watering hole in the future.

Great pizza, food, and especially beer! I love to go around the country experiencing good craft beer. This is by far my favorite local place to get it with rotating tap handles and rare finds. To top it all off theres nothing better with beer than food and countryside never disappoints.

I live pretty close to this place and we come here occasionally, sometimes dine in sometimes takeout. No matter what I get here the food is always good, and if I get takeout its still pretty warm by the time I get it home. Definitely like this place.

Been there a couple of times with a group of friends and each time the service was great. Theyll make any drink you name (and even one that my friend made up involving cayenne pepper sauce). Prices are great on both food and drinks

Amazing selection of beer. They have good specials each day of the week for food. Their unlimited fish fry isnt bad, but I think it could use some more seasoning or spice. Good atmosphere. Live music on some days too!

The service is excellent! The food is excellent! The beer selection is excellent! (They have a wonderful craft beer selection) The atmosphere is amazing and its run by an awesome family! Try the salad pizza!

Great food but very slow service. They dont provide bread or crackers before fopd or with salads so recommend getting appetizers. Cute atmoshosphere but again count on waiting around awile, would try again.

I liked how the burger I bought wasnt worth one third of what I paid for it. The pizza is average. Nice place for drinks. Eat before you go there. Its definitely gone downhill. I wont eat there again.

Fantastic beer list. Lots of intensely local brews on tap and hard to find bottles. Excellent Reuben. Our waiter was 10 out of 10. The big nasty owner was not quite as welcoming but whatever.

Great neighborhood bar with good food and a large beer selection. The patio is a nice place to relax in summer. Also, they have amazing batter dipped Wisconsin fried cheese curds.

Great thin crust pizza. They have a good wine and beer selection. Live entertainment on some Friday nights and they can be busy then. Most of the food on the menu is very good.
