Took my wife there last night and was very disappointed. Save your money. She ordered the special Pot Roast, and it was full of fat, hardly any meat. The flavor was really bad too. I ordered salmon with a side of jalapeno cheese grits and asparagus. The food was totally tasteless. The salmon was way over cooked as I ordered it medium. The grits were bland, and they gave me a whopping 4 pieces of asparagus that were tough and tasteless. The only thing good I can say is the butternut squash soup was excellent, and I did like the rustic atmoshpere. The chef needs some cooking lessons. I could do better at home on my on grill. Better get you act together if you want to stay open. Just saying....

Chose this place for date night & birthday dinner. Big mistake. Lots of errors from server (we were the only table btw, so his poor service was not bc he had his hands full, but pure lack of attention. Could hear talking and giggling from the back so Im guessing whoever he was chatting with in the kitchen was more important than paying customers), also not impressed with the menu, and there were a few other issues I wont even go on with. I have to say we were very disappointed not only with service, but with food quality as well. We honestly left feeling like it was a waste of not only our money, but our date night. Really expected much more!

Every time I come to this restaurant I enjoy myself. Im a regular here and every item Ive tasted has been amazing. The staff are always helpful and very friendly (Caylin tells the best stories!); and Matt makes having a cocktail at the bar with some buddies a great time. Try the onion rings, ribeye with cheese grits and spinach, with million dollar cake for dessert and you just cant go wrong. My only complaint is that they dont have the Blue Q on their new cocktail list.

In a word, disappointing. I could have spent half as much, gotten better service, and the same food. I used to try to go to the bar area, but the service was so bad. This last time I was seated in the dinning room and actually decided to eat. Bad idea! If the point of paying more isnt to get better service and better food, what is it? I should have gone to Applebees. At least Id have know what to expect, and wouldnt feel over charged for the experience.

So I moved to canton from woodstock and decides to find a restaurant near by. This place truly is a great place to enjoy a nice quite evening. The atmosphere is elegant and the food was superb. Our waiter Brian was attentive and recommended entrees from the menu for our first visit. He filled our glasses and checked on us frequently to make sure everything was cooked to our liking. Will be visiting again.

Have not been to Winchesters in a long time (used to be decent). And will never go back. Trout was to smelly to eat. Filet Mignon was tough, Baked Potatoe was cold sent back 2nd one was warm. Mac N Cheese (used to be my favorite) was dried out and tasteless. To bad food is not worth the price because the rest itself is very nice. I suggest a new celebrity chef!!!!!!

Food here is amazing. The staff is amazing. Despite some reviews, they are actually open. I think the most expensive thing on the menu is around 30ish dollars. Food is incredible. We will definitely be eating here again. I would recommend the brunch buffet on the weekends. Most people scoff at the sound of a buffet, but here its worth it and a great price.

This was my 1st visit to Winchesters for Sunday brunch. Nice place. We arrived at 1:00. The food on the brunch buffet was cold, poorly prepared and tasteless. I had an omelette that was ok but with a little more care and fresh ingredients could have been delicious. Makes you wonder why they dont try harder.

Finally, my husband and I can dine in an upscale restaurant without driving to Buckhead! Attention to service was great as well as the food. We took advantage of dining out on the deck over-looking the mountains. The night was beautiful and atmosphere perfect.

A quiet place with a nice atmosphere and and excellent music selection playing as you eat some amazing food. The service was quick and accurate, excellent job! I had some kind of spicy crab pastake that was delicious. Ill definitely remember and recommend.

We visited the Winchester Grill for a friend of our familys wedding rehearsal dinner. Excellent appetizers of fried calamari and mini chicken and waffles. Had New York strip for dinner and it was amazing. Great atmosphere and service.

Food is good. However, it seems as though theyve made some changes and will no longer allow substitutions without a service charge. Service was slow, even though we were done of the only people in the restaurant.

Very very nice people! Clean place and good food. Even for a picky eater like me, I loved their stuffed French Toast and my family enjoyed their breakfast bar. Decent prices so we will be eating there again soon.
