Worst dining experience I have ever had. First, upon walking in the hostess looks at me and my friend and with an attitude says" 2?" Never making eye contact, then asks another hostess if she will sit us. The hostess sat us near the bar, at a table, never asking if we wanted a booth, but then again she never said a word. She simply sat the menus down and walked away. After feeling completely unwelcomed by the hostess we contemplated just leaving as we sat there for TEN minutes before somebody walked by and asked "have you been helped"? After stating we had been there for ten minutes she walked away and came back asking if we were ready to order. Being that we sat there long enough, we ordered our food and drinks, both got margaritas. She never asked if we wanted salt, so one of us got salt, one of us didnt. Were not the type of people to complain EVER so we were trying to just ignore it. Our food came out quickly and we ate. After getting our food, we sat for about another five minutes or so waiting for the waitress to come back realizing we did not have any silverware. So finally I got up and ask the bartender who gave us some. We ate and then she approached the table once to see if we were done or ok, and we were not done yet. A few minutes later after we had finished, she returned to the table with 2 separate checks and walked away. Never asked if we wanted our checks together or if we wanted anything else. That was all we could take. So after paying, I asked for the manager. He was was nice and apologetic and offered us a few drinks for free, but we honestly were not interested and ready to get out of there asap. It seemed as though everyone there had an attitude and was completely unwelcoming. My friend left her phone on the table so a different waiter brought it out to her which was very nice. That was the only nice part of the experience. I have never complained about any service that was bad, Im the type to just say whatever. But this was honestly the WORST dining experience ever. They need new employees who know what customer service is and an attitude check! There is no way I will ever go there again.

My family and I frequent locos every other week. We always have wings and they are always delicious. My problems seems to be with the wait staff. As a wounded combat veteran I have come to realize that when Im out with my family in a public place eating the only comfortable wait for me to sit is with my back against the wall and facing a exit if possible. Without this my anxiety is through the roof and I cant stay for longer then a few minutes. I understand when your packed this cant always happen and I understand but I would say a good 75% of the time we go here my request is ignored. When this happens I ask again if I can be accommodated when its denied again my family and I leave. This isnt that big of a problem, however when we are seated and have to wait 30 minutes for our drinks, longer for refills and I can see my waitress talking to a employee or on their phone then its a problem. This hardly ever happens but tonight took the cake. I understand when its a hour before close you want to go home Yada Yada but you do not show that to the patrons of your restaurant. My wife and I are covered in tattoos so I would hope that this doesnt play a role in our treatment considering its 2016. I normally would leave a $20 tip for our $41 bill being in the service industry myself I understand the importance of tipping. I cant bring myself to not leave a tip for horrible service so I left $3 and change. I hope you realize the importance of good customer service and what it brings to the table along with great food. We came in around 9pm 6/27/16. Our waitress was a blonde headed young lady I would tell the name but she didnt introduce herself at the beginning of our service. I hope this is fixed we do love the food.

The food at this location is just like any other Locos location -- very consistent and very tasty. My favorite is the french dip sandwich! Good deals on beer also. But the service is absolutely horrible! I was in the food service industry for 8 years so I am very easy on servers...I know its not always and easy job. Im always a great tipper and always very polite to servers. However, each time I go to this Locos, which is fairly often because we really do enjoy the food, I leave angry because of the terrible service. Usually we are ignored a majority of the time and have to literally get up from the table to track down our waitress each time we want something. The other night I ordered a soda and sat there with an empty glass for AN HOUR because she never came to refill it (even when I asked her too). I understand they have other tables, but they seem to be ignoring them too. I also know they have sidework to do but ignoring the customers is not acceptable, in my opinion. Unfortunately I do not think I will be returning to this location, despite the fact that it is the closest location to me. My advice to management would be to find some new servers who actually care about your customers.

Ordered some delivery using their website. Paid with a credit card. Received a call saying they dont deliver to my area. I asked why, they wouldnt say at first. I asked for a manager, the manager said its not too far, but they consider my area high crime. Its not high crime at all, crime almost never happens where I live. I tried to explain this to him, but he refused to listen. He accused me and all my neighbors of being murderers and psychos. I gave up, and noticed they did not refund my order. I called back and was told I have to wait "3-4 days" because their online system is prehistoric. Their food is mediocre and over-priced to begin with, and after this experience with a hostile manager Ill never be eating there again. Athens is full of great restaurants, Locos is not one of them.

The manger was not friendly. My coaching buddy ordered wings but when tender came out instead the waitress said keep the tenders. When my coaching buddy was charged he asked why was he charged when he asked her to take them back. The manger said you ate them, but only because she said keep them. When he said I will pay it but not come back there was no attempt to make it right. I worked. Customer service over 15 years and you make in attempt to try to do whats good for the company and the customer. Was a $6 order of tenders worth loosing our business. I guess it was we and I have many friends and coaching associates. We wont be back

On my visit, the place was busy, but I was seated promptly. Took about 5 minutes for someone to get my drink order. It was a decent but reasonable 15 minute wait for my food. Cant go wrong with the french fries and Looney Bird. Took a few minutes for my near empty glass to get a refill, but I was offered one without having to flag anyone down. They honored my BOGO coupon and tailored to my request for the second entree to be brought out later wrapped to-go. I got the chipotle grilled chicken wrap to-go and it was perfectly timed to be ready just as I was finishing my meal. It was very tasty as well. Great location, will return.
