This place is a joke of all jokes. Ive been to many other Brazilian Churrascaria in Brazil itself and in Tampa, including the once very popular but now closed Boizao Steakhouse. Lets start with the flies. There were a number of flies making rounds at our table the entire meal. We told the servers who acted all shocked but did very little. A gentleman in dress clothes and a tie who appeared to be the manager was too busy taking pictures with other patrons to post on facebook, to which we declined when he asked us. There were only two waitresses, none of whom spoke a drop of English. I was completely ignored and they only spoke to my fiancee who is Venezuelan and bilingual. I was being translated for the entire time. What if I had come by myself or with a non-spanish speaking person? Now the food. The steak and chicken were dry, the lamb was uncooked and chewy, the cheesy bread balls were nothing cheesy at all but cold hard shell of dough with nothing inside. There was no variety at all with neither the meat or the buffet. There were 5 or 6 buffet items and the pork sausage was offered to us three times in a 45 minutes dining stay. A corner store Chinese food has more variety. The entire place was hot with little to no air circulation. To make matters worse, they tried to ask for tip twice when it was already included in the check. So beware to not double tip. As a matter of fact, just dont go to this place at all. There are other WAY better options in Tampa or St. Pete.

Hidden Charges. When we first came in the environment is very nice low key low lighting. The sides and salad assortment is not much of an assortment at all. The sides are in trays with bunsen burners and is very low quality food for the price. The salads all looked premade. When asked what we would like to drink we asked for a drink menu and as our server was walking away I asked for waters as well and he made a point to ask if we wanted sparkling or regular. My husband who likes sparkling water asked for sparkling water which we ended up being charged for the entire liter bottle of sparkling water for $7 which was not needed and should have been explained before being brought out. The meat was sub par and not anything I would rave over. Most of it was either overcooked or extremely greasy. We then ordered two drinks both equal in price. My mojito was twice the size of my husbands and neither of us could taste a drop of alcohol in either of them. When we received the check there was an additional carvers gratuity that added on 15%, why they need a percentage from my drink order is beyond me as well as the fact that there was no mention of this charge anywhere around the restaurant or on any menu we saw. We will not be returning. I would rather eat somewhere where I wont have the staff trying to add on anything they can to up the bill.

I really wanted to love this place, I was hoping for more. We went on a Sunday with the groupon and were seated right away, the staff is very friendly. There was only 2 other tables of people dining at 6pm, which may have been the reason the staff was hovering over us, it was a very overwhelming and uncomfortable. They just stood there 3 feet away watching us make our plates, then between the manager, hostess and waitress they stopped to check on us every single minute, we couldnt even finish a sentence or enjoy a few bites without being interrupted, they kept asking if they could take our plates if we stopped eating to talk for a minute. The place is VERY dark and plain looking and was playing what sounded like chinese-buffet music, and the selection is VERY limited. If youve ever been to Texas De Brazil you will be disappointed because its more like a small buffet with a couple salads, soups and sides and its definitely not as beautiful. The sides were delicious, probably more so than the meat, because the only meat we saw was sausage, cold ham, picanha(steak), a beef brisket, parmesan pork and pork loin....no chicken, no ribs, no bacon wrapped anything. For the price, youre better off just coughing up the extra 10 bucks to go to Texas.

Okay I dont even know where to start. But this restaraunt is absolutely amazing. I checked what the atmosphere of the place was on Google, it said "casual", but it was more like a tender, tranquil essence. Everywhere you look, there would be TVs set up with a slideshow of beautiful pictures of Brazil. And then when it gets to the food, I can not tell you in a thousand words how amazing it is. The food is very flavorful, and so scrumptious. Its like a good book you cant put down. All you want to do is eat more and more, until you find out that your stomache is full. But you still dive into the dessert, and lick every crumb off the plate. Other than the food, the staff is also amazing. They are always prepared and ready for the next person that comes in. I remember when I chugged down about half a cup of water, one of the employees came up to me like a ninja and instantly refilled it to the top. They also treat you like family, and the boss is a very hardworking man. He has a persona of one of those uncles that everyone loves that always puts a smile to someones face. Me, I was born in Brazil, but I didnt live there for so long. But my family taught me the culture and roots of it, and this restaraunt literally made me feel at home.

We were in Tampa from Orlando and wanted to try something a little different. A Google search for "steak" resulted in finding this little gem. It didnt seem like much from the outside but inside was quiet and romantic. The Brazilian music playing was a nice touch and wasnt too loud. We were greeted by the host and he was extremely friendly. The buffet was decent and included white rice, red beans, Sheppards pie, lasagna, pasta, stewed beef, paella, and a couple other meaty dishes. Sheppards pie was notably tasty and everything else was good. The meat choices were chicken (chicken breast, chicken heart, and chicken with bacon), pork, linguisa, and beef (sirloin, top sirloin, marinated steak, and picante (I think)). The top sirloin was so delicious! There was one small issue and that was the amount of salt on everything we tried. It wasnt enough to ruin the meal but it was a lot. Lastly, we tried the coffee caramel flan for dessert. WOW. The owner, Kim, came by and spoke with us. Apparently, he makes all the food in-house and I was impressed. We will definitely come back when were in Tampa again. Overall, the food was good but the atmosphere was perfect.

If youve never been to an ayce Brazilian bbq this may be enjoy this place. However if you know what real rodizio is then this place is not for you. First the buffet salads and sides... Five hot items and some iceberg lettuce salad. Beans and rice were ok, no salad dressings readily available. Meat at a rodizio is supposed to be salted and not seasoned with sugar and Chinese seasonings. This place seasoned with all manners of soy sauce and sugar and other seasonings that subtract from the flavor of the meat. Not good at all. Took forever for the staff to remove dirty dishes. Meat came out slowly and despite our having a party of 8 small amounts of meat arrived at our table not serving everyone. Meat was mostly well done or cooked unevenly. Many of the cuts the manager said were available never came out a of the kitchen and wait times for meat the next meat to come out could last 10 to 15 minutes. Carvers included at (18%) then they asked for more tip. I would not recommend this restaurant for dinner. Seek Brazilian BBQ at a real rodizio not here. The Carvers were friendly, that was the saving grace, however we wont be returning.
