I found out about this shop during my search for my first burr grinder. I saw this shop was an authorized seller for the Barataza Encore grinder that I wanted, and I immediately placed an order through their site. I asked for some advice in the "note to seller" box and was so surprised at how helpful the response was. John, who I believe is one of the owners, took the time to write out an in-depth email with suggestions on settings for my new grinder. He also provided me with samples as to what my grind should look like and even provided me with some beans to practice with so that I didnt waste the coffee that he freshly roasted for me. I was originally going to have the grinder and coffee shipped to me, but I was so impressed with Johns response that I drove two hours each way to pick the order up the next day. John not only agreed to meet me at the shop on a Saturday, but he spent 10 minutes teaching me how to get the most out of the grinder and coffee -- he even gave me a free batch of a different roast to try! I couldnt believe how he took the time to teach me a little bit about the coffee that he roasts. While at the shop I tried a cold brew and a pour over, both of which were some of the best coffee that I have ever had. John texted me later on in the day to wish me luck with the new grinder. Overall, my experience with John and the shop was amazing. I cant wait to experiment with their coffee and will certainly be ordering from DOS in the future. Ill also certainly be making the trip back to the shop -- more than worth the four hour drive. If I lived in the St. Augustine area I would be frequenting this shop multiple times a week. Great coffee and friendly staff; you cant ask for more.

Really terrible. Stopped in here for the first time today hoping to find a new place to eat. Firstly, we were not greeted; the girl behind the counter was talking to her boyfriend and didnt seem to care that we had entered the facility. After a minute or two, she finally greets us with a hello. I didnt want anything myself, so my husband orders a sandwich. The women is rude throughout the transaction, hands off the bagged sandwich and we head home. We open the bag to find that the sandwich isnt even wrapped. Instead, its thrown in the bag, the layers of bread and topping all scattered. Needless to say, we will never be back to this place. I now see why they are slow and never have any customers.

I come here regularly and I came this past Sunday and was treated horribly the service was awful, throught the whole order the girl at the register was sarcastic and rude towards every costumer and every request you had She seemed annoyed at the fact that the store had costumers and put in zero effort towards making the costumer feel welcomed Normally I have a good experience but the food is not good enough to warrant mediocre service Will not return next time if She is running the register Ive never had any bad experience with the other workers but her I was thoroughly dissatisfied with my visit

Best tasting coffee in town, in my opinion! And its such a nice atmosphere that I have spent the entire day here a number of times doing schoolwork on my laptop. The paninis are affordable, delicious, and are big enough for me that I make two meals out of them. They have great tasting locally made kombucha which is usually some variety of ginger. I sometimes end a long study day with a delicious local IPA... DOS is the perfect home away from home when I get apartment/roommate fever!

One of the best secrets in Saint Augustine. Quit drinking GMO starbucks. Ive been going here since the day it opened. I will admit the service isnt perfect every time, but I understand. My favorite Baristas are Julie, Cameron, Morgan, Rachael, and Nicholas. Great atmosphere. They could easily improve the entertainment to generate some more business, but its a work in progress. Overall no complaints we love their coffee and camaraderie.

Dos is a great place to get a cup of tea, cold brew coffee, beer, wine, or on Sunday, bogo mimosas. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, with free wifi for working, studying, or just wasting time. They have couches and comfortable chairs as well as tables to spread out. They have some delicious sandwiches like the supple leopard and the triple x blt.

I really love their food and coffee, but Im a little disappointed with how long it takes to receive the food after it has been ordered. They need different types of music too, not everyone likes listening to guitar playing only or blues. They need more electrical outlets since they have free wifi too. But overall I would recommend this cafe to others.

If you enjoy freshly roasted coffee beans and real coffee this place is for you. Communal atmosphere adds up to the great taste of coffee. I also appreciate how DOS helps people around. They help Neal from Coca de la creme to establish his business and now they helping food truck guys. I think this is wonderful. Thank you for feeding us DOS

We frequently stop in each time we visit from Savannah. (Usually, every 2-3 months.) The coffee is always great! The sandwiches are delicious. As are the muffins. A huge fan of the layout and setup. Great customer service! It can be a bit of a wait depending on the time you visit. (Due to their popularity.)

DOS is a nice, warm, cozy coffee shop. It is a great place to meet friends and chat or have a small business meeting when you want to get out of the office. The coffee is fantastic, the food is very good, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. And they also serve wine!

I love Dos but not for the reason everyone else does. They have good coffee sure - but I love them for their other options: a case full of baked goods! Dos is the HQ for several of my clients it is a wonderful place to meet up, grab a drink and chill for a bit.

We got a smoothie. Menu says two prices and when we asked the size difference they said there wasnt one and charged us the more expensive price. $6.50 plus tax for a 16 oz smoothie. It was good, but not for the price.
