Definitely a unique experience. You come in, grab a menu and a card that will be used to keep track of purchases. They have several stations such as a pizza station, a pasta station, a salad station, etc. You go to the station, scan your card and order while the food is made in front of you. There is a bar as well. The food is good very good with a lot of oration speaking staff. The ambience is awesome. You dont have a server. At the end you take your card to the register and pay based on what youve purchased with the scan card. It was different. There is some getting used to but overall I enjoyed the experience.

This Italian restaurant of German origin is part of a Restaurant chain that sets itself apart by being casual and for having establishments in different parts of the world. Diners have a say in what kind of pasta and sauce they want as well as in what they wish to drink, then they order it all directly (without waiter). Vapiano restaurant also serves carpaccio, pizzas and salads. Everything—including pasta—is prepared on site. Portions are bountiful so it may be enough with a pasta or pizza to satisfy your hunger. During lunch the place gets busy and it is an ideal food venue to share with friends and family.

This place is great to come with friends or a date. Their concept is fresh: your order your food and they cook it in front of you very quickly with fresh ingredients. I ordered the shrimp and spinach pasta with the Hawaiian pizza. Completely amazing. At checkout I noticed they forgot to charge me for the pasta and mentioned it. Service almost didnt show any appreciation. I though thats was odd. But chefs are always in a good mood and like to chat while cooking.

Vapiano has a really unique concept. You get a card and go to various stations dedicated to a specific item. They scan the card and make your dish fresh. Whether it be pasta and risotto, salads, pizza and antipasti. They can customize just about ANYTHING! The pastas are fresh and homemade, sauces are incredible with endless choices. Its a perfect date night or family night restaurant. At the tables they have fresh herbs to sprinkle in your dish.

The quality doesnt resemble anything in Germany. What is missing in this location is more fresh ingredients to enhance the flavor profile of dishes and higher presentation standards that are consistent throughout its locations in different German cities. Hilariously, it cost me less to eat at Vapianos in Europe than in Miami. There was a free beer promo tied to an app was advertised at the entrance. If youre into bitter beer, take it.

Ill just say this: Best pasta in Miami by far. The mix of fresh and premium ingredients, the home made pasta and the perfect portioning make this place a MUST in Miami. Also have a great ambientance and variety of drinks. The only thing here is, that there is a small learning curve on how to order, and no one really explains it really good at the arrival, but apart of that, everything its a 10/10.

I really like the food here. The pizza is fresh and delicious and the deserts which are sold separately were good too. I got a chicken pesto pizza and a desert in a little cup like tiramasu but different. The system of ordering and paying is new too. You use a card and pick what u want then pay at the end. Atmosphere is great lots of plants, very clean and non traditional. Can eat outside too

My favorite place for a quick lunch and casual dinner with friends. They have delicious pasta, pizza, salads, soup, mini-desserts and a full bar. There are also changing, seasonal specials on the menu. Vapiano is the only place in Brickell where the price is right: huge portion of home made pasta with salmon and a coke for only $14 - try to get that elsewhere. I love this place.

Amazing service, fast home-style food. Try the desserts theyre small and good for sharing. I love how everyone greets you with a smile and nice demeanor. You can have pasta, pizza, salad, soups, amazing desserts and it has a full bar... Great place to watch sports! I had delicious seafood pasta it was a huge portion for only $14. Unbelievable. I love this place.

This place was a little confusing as first timers, with little help from the workers. But once we got used to the layout we really enjoyed it. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was upbeat and fun. There were a few groups in the location which made it a little louder than we prefer, but we had a good time.

Italian food here is average at best. It feels industrial produced. The pizza was okay and the pasta seemed loaded with sauce for flavor. Even the salad had way too much cheese and dressing. This restaurant is not a very good representation of the Vapiano that I had in Virginia.

This place is consistently good. I eat lunch here once a week and Ive been coming here since they opened. Whether I order, pizza, pasta, or a salad, they whats deliver good food. Theyre also not that expensive. Unless you want more chicken. Then thats a million dollars

Very disorganized. If its your first time, make sure you go when theres only a few people so that the staff can help you understand whats going on. The hostess wasnt friendly, and seemed upset because we didnt understand her short and extremely quick explanation.

The best pasta. I love the Arrabiata sauce with Spaghetti. I first tried out Vapiano in Washington DC when it wasnt available in Miami. Thank goodness its in Miami now. I LOVE Vapiano! Not many people know about this place and theyre missing out!
