So, a bad experience here years ago, figured "What the heck, lets give it a shot again". Big mistake. Absolutely the most awful steak I have ever bitten into, not to mention that it was about 60% fat. Almost choked waiting on drinks from the airhead waitress. Tried to speak to the "manager" but she was not there, called in a hour later and she was too busy to speak to me and would call back. Never a return call....Now the wife and children are camped out in the bathroom because of this mess. Unless you are elderly and have no taste buds or no colon to worry with, do not waste your time or money. Hundred dollar bill shot to heck. Would have been better off going to Norbys up the road.

When in and had to seat our self. Then had to flag down some one after sitting for about 10 mins with everyone passing us by. Asked for a high chair and some tea. After about 5 mins only our drinks came and my husband finally got up and found the high chair and brought it to the table. Then we waited a few more mins when we notices our server sitting down not even coming to take our order! We got up and left and will never go back. Not sure hows the food because we never got to order. I will not pay for bad services anymore.

Really good food at a good price. Took advantage of the corned beef and cabbage special, in the spirit of St. Pattys day. The corned beef was excellent. The fried green beans were a great appetizer. My hubby ordered the Lightsey Cattle Co. burger and was very please with the quality and flavor of the beef. It was super busy, but only had to wait between 5 and 10 minutes. Service was excellent. This may have to be our regular spot!

My wife and I go on Saturdays, after 4pm for the Prime Rib special. You get a 16oz slab, and 2 sides for $17.99. I usually get a salad and a baked potato. The meat is done just right, not dry and chewy, but very juicy. They also give you plain Horseradish and au-jou (sp). I think the service is great. When it is slow, the extra staff seems to not be doing anything. But it does hop when it is busy. I have never error been disappointed.

Service was friendly and the food was delicious! Great place to get a burger. A casual laid back atmosphere made this a very comfortable place to stop when my fiance and I were traveling across the state. Just a smidge slow at serving us when we got there, but it was probably because it wasnt very busy and we decided to sit in the bar, away from the other customers.

Its a wonderful place to gather with your friends and share a delicious meal . The owner and staff make you feel right at home . The food is always served with a smile, and friendly conversation . And your tea glass never goes empty for long . I highly recommend you give it a try next time you go out to eat .The food is Delishes ,and prices are very affordable !

We drove by as the original was burning. Thought they would never rebuild, but they did. Excellent homecooked meals. Down home service. I dont think i have had a meal here that was not excellent. Steak,sandwiches,daily specials, real vegetables(turnips,collard,corn). If you are ever fishing the chain, stop by for some good food. You wont be let down!!!

Although the catfish I had was very good...I really didnt want to see one of the staff in the kitchen picking her nose! And I didnt appreciate our waitress standing in the doorway from bar to kitchen taking the paper kids off the ketchup bottles with her teeth!!! Omg!! Will think twice before I go here again!!! Oh...Im a visitor from Oklahoma!!

I would give this place 10 starts if I could I had the frog legs special it was so good the sauce that comes with complimented the frog legs and fries perfectly my waitress Tabitha was a southern bell the service was fantastic 5 Stars the environment was so laid back definitely recommend

Place was a lot cleaner than I expected for being a roadside place in the middle of nowhere, and service was good, but the food was very forgettable. It served its purpose, but I wouldnt be a regular if it were in my neighborhood.
