Of all the food choices in Union Station, this one stands alone far above the rest. It succeeds at being a true asian bistro offering a blend of Chinese, Vietnamese, Japanese and Phillipino cuisine. The service is abrupt at times but weve learned they are of a "Soup Nazi" mentality... they dont have to be nice, they will always reach capacity within 10 minutes of opening for lunch. I frequent East St. Cafe at least once a week, sometimes twice. The food is delicious and consistent which will keep you from punching your server in the face. Try the green or red curry, spicy ginger beef, drunken noodles or any of the house specialties.

Good thai food and fast service. Offers good variety of fried rice. Great food quantity for the price. Come friday afternoon and you will see almost an hour wait line. This place is "desis" paradise for fried rice.

I enjoy being able to look out over the hustle and bustle of Union Station and still be able to have a nice conversation without things being too loud. Good food at a decent price.

Quick, fast, helpful service. Was not full or noisy unlike Unos where there was a wait. So we enjoyed salmon, laksa and garlic shrimp. Will try again.
