Best Chinese Ive had anywhere (including NYC expensive restaurants). This place is super clean (just walk in to see it). My girlfriend recommended this place and I assumed that it was a "typical Chinese takeout spot", boy was I wrong. The food was incredibly delicious, not oily at all. The chicken was very fresh and obviously good quality chicken which is something I never find at a Chinese food restaurant. Will only patronize this restaurant when in the mood for Chinese food going forward. Treat yourself to the best in the area, worth every penny.

I rarely write a review or comment on a restaurant, but this place is so consistent with the quality of food they put out. I live down the street and practically live off their lunch menu. Theyre food is always fantastic and their Hot and Sour soup is hands down the best youll ever have. Other places will skimp on the meat and fill it with more mushroom --not here. The couple that owns the place are very friendly and very nice. This place beats most of the other chinese restaurants in the area (believe me Ive tried all of them!).

Been ordering from this place for the last 6 years. They are consistent with the food quality. They dont use MSG like the other chinese restaurants around Fairfield. The couple who runs the place takes good care of us. Even giving us special bags of shrimp crackers that my 5 year old loves. Recently I ordered take-out from a Chinese Take-out in New Canaan. Boy were we disappointed! Not only were the prices more expensive, the quality and the quantity was inferior! We will remain Tai Jangs number one fan!

I am a Fairfield native i grew up around the corner on Riverside dr. I know chinese food. This is take out, not fine dining. You outsiders can take your three and two stars elsewhere. The first thing i will do when I get back to town from Central America is to get me some Sesame Chicken. As far as take out is considered this is the best. When i come back after 20 years living outside of Connecticut they still remember me.

This must be new owners. Even though they insist its not, its not the same ! The food hasnt been the same for months and thats really unfortunate as Ive been coming here for over 20 years ! The food used to be excellent now its fair to poor at best !

My go to Chinese food in the area. They dont deliver, but its worth it to go pick it up. Reasonably priced, and the people Ive dealt with here have always been nice. Several notches above your typical Chinese place.

I dont understand all the 5 star reviews....I was excited to try this restaurant, but was very disappointed. I wont be going back. I hope this isnt representative of the Chinese food in Fairfield.

Dependable suburban Chinese takeout joint. No seating for dining inside. People/owners are super friendly. Food is tasty, if not terribly authentic.
