The prices are a little high but Im willing to overlook that occasionally for some good food and I have had good food there.. but after my experience today I will not go back. I went to lunch with a colleague and he left his wallet there. Upon realizing it (it was at least an hour) he called and was told that nothing was found or turned in, after not finding it at the office he went to the restaurant to be told that they had spoken to the staff and looked around and no one had seen it. He asked to look around and ended up finding it underneath one of the booth benches (we were seated at a table) with all of the money gone. It seems to me that it would likely have had to have been an employee since I feel that a patron would simply pick it up as they walked by and not feel the need to kick it underneath a booth. After finding it the manager tried to say it must have fallen off the table.. except for the missing money and that it was a little ways away from our table. I get that there are dishonest people in this world and that an establishment cannot be completely held responsible, however the behavior of the manager on top of everything, and knowing how empty the restaurant was and that our table was in full view of the kitchen, hostess stand, and wait station makes it hard to swallow. So whether or not I enjoyed the food is not a factor for me returning to the restaurant.

Ive loved this place ever since the new ownership a few years ago. The decor is great and the staff is very friendly. Complimentary chips and salsa brought to your table (I always ask for the green salsa, its not as spicy, but it has a sweet flavor that I can dump over everything). The first thing I ever had was a Salmon Caesar, which had a whole spear of romaine lettuce that was grilled over an open flame. That seemed a little weird to me at first but the taste was phenomenal. I always get it if its on special that day. The rest of the menu is pretty regular, and Ive definitely had more authentic Mexican food, but Ive never been disappointed in anything Ive had here. Its a great spot for a business lunch or mixed company, as there is a wide variety of flavored and choices. Its a bit pricey, but happy hour and taco Tuesday are definitely a local "must do". This is the best non-taqueria Mexican restaurant in town.

Would give zero stars if that was an option, ordered a pitcher of margaritas, which turned out to be 50 dollars, was told it was the equivalent of 5 margaritas (it did not fill up 5 glasses as it was full of ice) and I was charged as if I had ordered 5 margaritas themselves , I took issue with this, asked to speak to the manager and was thoroughly disrespected. He was completely unapologetic and seemed to truly not care if I ever came back (and I was a regular patron) I wrote a note and left my phone number and have heard nothing since. If you have an issue with dinner they will not care.

For over a year I have been making regular visits to this fabulous restaurant. Their Salsa and Chips are the best I have ever had ANYWHERE. Their Margaritas, especially the Pepino are favorites even if they are a bit pricey. The food is to die for and the service often better than Ive know in Michelin rated restaurants. Oh, and I should note that the kitchen makes award winning salsa (absolutely unique and easily identified in blind tastings) and entrees.

The food was okay, but not spectacular. The prices were definitely too high, $11 for 2 cheese enchiladas? I wasnt a huge fan on their red sauce either. The rice was really good though. My margarita was flavorful but not very strong. Service was confusing but friendly, as I was helped by 4 people and that made one of them bring me the wrong entrée at first. I probably wont go back at those prices.

Had to return the chicken burrito to get some chicken for it. It was filled with mostly rice. To be fair, I did discover about a half a fork full of chicken in it. Thats a hefty profit for a $12 burrito! Get the salmon. Its been a winner both times for my sister. The chicken salad was boring too. Too bad. Their $12 margaritas were tasty...but $12 for a lunch time marg. Ouch!

this is not Mexican food its bad atemps at Mexican food everything i ordered was either way over salted of had no flavor at all and thin they charged way to much for food i wouldnt feed to some one i hated. the building and the decor is very nice on the other hand so i guess if you wanted to just go hang out and not eat any food it would be nice

Fantastic flavorful food. A little spendy, but worth every penny of it. The wait staff are the most friendly and helpful in the business. I wish we had a restaurant this nice in portland, oregon. I will most definitely return. Make sure to have the flan at the end of your dinning experience.

Made reservations for 12 people, 3 overy 85, for what they said was slow time. Was no one else in restaurant when we arrived, day was 106 and they said only seating was outside. We asked to be moved inside, they refused, so we went across the street to La Frontera and had a nice dinner.

Food was cold, tasteless and expensive. Service was not only bad but the cooks were making fun of customers directly in front of us. Beautiful restaurant but needs to look out for who they are hiring, would hate to see another restaurant fail due to poor staff.

It was a great experience! The food is delicious, served hot. The waitstaff is very attentive without being invasive - quick on the refills for the wonderful warm, very crisp chips, salsa, sodas and water! Maybe a tiny bit expensive but so worth it!

Food is good. Prices are ridiculous! Example: half a cup of ceviche with a bunch of chips $11. Ceviche has good flavor but mostly vegetables. And like 2 shrimp chopped up.

Been here twice to give them the benefit of the doubt. Very bland. Ambiance is great but doesnt match the food quality. Service was nothing special both times.
