Went to Kabuki, Valencia 12/29/2012, to get some hot sake and a meal.. Question: can a restaurant, a Japanese restaurant... RUN OUT OF SAKE... on a FRIDAY NIGHT???? Yes, and Kabuki did just that. Unbelievable, but absolutely true. I instead requested an apple martini. Must have been an off night at the bar, because what I got was just a horrible concoction. Tasted like Sprite and Vodka. Yech. No rating for the drinks/bar available, so take my experience under advisement and tread cautiously in that catagory...The food was great, however, as was the service, which did salvage the night.

I lived in Japan, I know Japanese food. If you are looking for good Japanese cuisine this is not it. The tempura is cooked in corn oil and has a slight aftertaste of popcorn, the dipping sauces are thin and flavorless. The meat could have been cooked at any chilis or applebees type restaurant. The rice is so dry that it has no cohesion and is of a poor quality. My drink was mostly soda water, and my boyfriends mojito was flat on flavor but full of bubbles. The service is poor, theyre quick to take your drinks and slow to deliver everything else.

We were at Magic Mountain on Saturday and Staying at Embassy Suites, plan was to go out to Sushi. This place had good reviews (It is a chain not my normal for Sushi)! The child that was with us loves his Sushi, but to tired to go out after park all day. I called in an order to go, we got 4 rolls and 5 piece Toro Sashimi and garlic edamame. The food was ready in 20 minutes, presented well and tasted great. The Restuarnt looked great, next time we are eating at Restuarnt. Highly recommend and dinner was only $70

I used to be a fan of this location and used to be a regular customer. Recently, I dont know what happened to management and the sushi. The manager there is a young guy and doesnt believe in smiling or making customers happy. Its all about bringing in revenue for him. Also, for the price of the sushi, you would think the presentation would be nice. Its no longer nice. The sushi is made quick and messy. I had to have my sushi made 3 times to have it in the condition it should be. No apology from the manager.

We come here way too often, in a good way. Having said that the staff has never become too comfortable when preparing our food to go or when we dine in with friends, family or the clients we are entertaining. I have to give a shout out to our favorites which give that extra attention, we have learned to love, while dining at Kabuki. Thank you Wendy, Ace, Jake, Esther, Irene, Victoria, Maddie, Jin, Macki, and Keith. You are all wonderful and keep us coming back

My wife loves sushi and my boys love this place. We try going during happy hour 3-6pm and take advantage of many of their specials. I love their soy Ramen and California Gold Rush. Must have! Their service is a hit and miss, weve had great service and other times they have forgotten about us. Overall, we recommend Kabuki and join the reward program.

I ordered take out sushi and lunch special teriyaki chicken meal. It was reasonable price and taste was good. I was surprised they didnt give me soy sauce instead they gave me some different sauce to dip my sushi. Their lunch specials were good amount of food and bathroom inside was very unique. You should try go inside

Happy hour is the bomb!! The sushi is always fresh!! The only draw back is they have a 3pm happy hour and a bartender that doesnt start till 4pm WTF??? anyway service is a bit slow but the atmosphere and food are worth the extra 10 min it may take to get a second drink!!!! after the 3rd who cares!!! hahahahahaha

Ordered out and arrived 5 minutes before my pick up time and although the sushi was fresh the calamari order was ice cold and for the first time some of the rolls were poorly put together as they would break apart when grabbing, never happened before so this is their first and only free pass.

Wait time is decent, ranging from 8 to 20 minutes depending on the dish ordered. The sauces used are rich and of wonderful consistency and flavor. With a club-like atmosphere, it provides a unique dining experience. Perfect for a family dinner or a night out with friends.

Cant begin to explain how good the food is. Their sushi is always fresh and they have a big selection to choose from. The appetizers such as the pork belly are amazing. The staff is friendly and very attentive to their guests. Definitely coming back whenever I can

The food is good. But, I find that the delivery of food takes a long, long time. I have been here twice where I saw my orders sitting on the rail at the sushi bar for quite a long time. So much so that I commented on it to the rest of my party.

I travel for a living and stay at many hotels and I have to say I was very impressed with the hotel staff. They were very attentive to detail and the needs of their guests. I felt right at home which is how you should feel at a hotel.

Used to be A LOT better. Last time we were there the sushi was not as good, and just some basic things like the glass separating the booths had a bunch of fingerprint smudges

Pretty good alternative to Kisho but sometimes feels way overpriced. The bathrooms are also horribly designed with odd colors and angles - will give you vertigo.

Not a bad sushi spot. Too bad the service was extremely slow otherwise this would be a solid 4 star. Make sure you try the Albacore Crunch Roll!

Arent many options in SCV. Quality is okay, some of the rolls are good. But theres nothing really special about this place.
