the one star is for artwork but the food is mediocre at best and the waitstaff was somewhat rude...si hablas y me puedes entender no te acerques..Este restaurante tiene de auténtico tal vez sólo el nombre...para empezar los chips rancios y la salsa desabrida...como la mesera...el platillo fuerte fue un pollo con limón y cilantro estaba seco y sin sabor...en fin más que una decepción...

The food and service are great. This is a regular spot of mine. My family and I have been coming here for over ten years. I have some go to items on the menu. First is the crab enchiladas. They use real crab and a lot of it. Second is the enchiladas tejanas. Lots of chorizo on these cheese filled goodies. Third is the carnitas taquitos. A la carte with a beer while waiting for the car wash is a near perfect hour. Finally, the "skinny" margarita on the rocks is really good. Its fresh squeezed lime juice, agave syrup and silver tequila. I cant stand the otc tequila mixes, so after overhearing a server explaining its ingredients to another patron, I tried it and was pleasantly surprised.

We gather here today 6/10/17 with family and friends to celebrate a birthday, everything was going well, we had ordered a side of guacamole and tasted really good but was really small so I asked the waitress for the guacamole appetizer which I thought was gonna be a much bigger size but when another staff member brought it to the table I told him that I thought it was gonna be a bigger size and with A REALLY NASTY ATTITUDE HE SAID THAT THAT WAS IT AND THAT I SHOULD TALK TO THE WAITRESS, dropped the plate on the table with a bad attitude again turn his back and left. One single staff member with a horrible attitude has convinced me never to go back again.

Best costumer service award of the year goes to a gentlemen at La Capilla ! Seriously this guy needs a raise, next time I go back Ill ask for his name. So this is why: i was picking out the onions one by one, from the red salsa that is given to you in the beginning. Im half way down & this guy shows up & hands me the salsa & tells me he tried picking out all the onions out for me ! & he did an amazing job, there was none ! I was so impressed and happy! Seriously la capilla had good customer service, amazing tortilla cheese soup & their beef chimichanga is so good !

Food was good service was unacceptable we were finishing dinner up had just ordered a picher of margaritas the went out tolet some balloons off the air and the waiter to move because a party had been waiting a hour n a half we waited almost a hour for our table talked to manager and he did not offer any thing but they shoud not have done that felt we had to leave didnt even finish the pitcher of margaritas was my 1st time there and my last and we were a party of 27 i do not recommend this restaurant for any partys they are unprofessional dissatisfied customer!!!!

My Tostada Grande was the worst tostada Ive ever had in my life. .and Im old!!.. I asked waitress for juicy not dry Carne Asada..it was tiny little pieces of dry meat..the iceberg lettuce was white and had no flavor at all..the chips.. we had to ask for fresh..they tasted like old oil chips ..the salsa was terrible.my husband asked for a margarita..no sweet and sour..lime tequila and ice ..first time he got it. Second time he didnt..he told waitress..doesnt taste like the first one..she said .OH YES IT IS..LIE!!.say no more!!!

Great pricing, great location, easy parking, big dining room, fast service, really nice waiters waitresses and all the staff, really clean My husband grew up near old Torrance and every time were on the 405 and were near this restaurant I beg him to take me. I love the Mexican tortilla soup and everything else that they make. My husbands whole family comes here for so many occasions and none of them are at Leap and live in the area anymore im originally from New York and I never taste the Mexican food like its delicious

Sadly, I feel that over the years, the quality of the food here has drastically gone downhill. My last few visits have been progressively less satisfying. Tonight, I had what was quite possibly the most bland tasting food I can recall ever eating. The Camarones Criollos was in a "spicy" sauce, that I kid you not, with eyes closed, couldve easily been mistaken for Chef Boyardee. Everything was genuinely "meh". Definitely time to start looking for an authentic, quality local Mexican joint in the South Bay.

Very polite and nice staff. Food is horrible. Salsa was all tomato and water. No agua frescas. Beans were overloaded with cheese...all I could taste was the cheese. Enchiladas Rancheras had a flavorless sauce and cant believe i paid about $15 for this plate. Cant believe this is considered good Mexican food by some. Please make the trip to Ortegas if you are craving delicious gringo style Mexican Food. Im not sure about authentic Mexican food in the South bay but will definitely continue looking.

As a resident of Torrance, this has always been a go-to place when youre in the mood for Mexican food. Their tortilla soup is AMAZING. Shredded beef tacos are awesome. Enchiladas are always good. Portion sizes do not disappoint. Theyre isnt very good phone service, which makes it a little challenging if youre meeting with friends. I believe they have a full bar, but have never ordered anything aside from a Shirley Temple. The surrounding area of Old Torrance is really cute too.

There tortilla soup is spot on! Great for cold/rainy days. Love the dark atmosphere but besides that its meh. Normally busy during dinner time and they dont take reservations. It is important to note though that if you plan to come with a big party, call ahead and theyll squeeze you in as soon as they can versus waiting until its your turn. Its not a reservation but they give you a perk for warning them ahead of time since the place is small.

Waitress was pushy and unfriendly from atart to finush. We walked in and she was almost rushing us out the door before our last person arrived. The food was so so. sloppy plating and not hot. Once we were not ready when she wanted us to be I actually used my light on my phone to get her attention that we are ready to order. No im not going to be returning.Im yelping them today.

I know people of Torrance rave about this place, but maybe because I dont have the nostalgic memories here like everyone else seems to, I find their food just ok. I went here once last year and havent had any cravings to come back. One word of advice if you do eat here: they use A LOT of cheese. And I mean A LOT OF CHEESE. I like cheese and all, but they go overboard imo.

Worst customer service by Diana , she had an attitude towards us . I simply asked to change an item on my plate and I got a NO for an answer , never came around the table to refill water and we had to ask another waitress to bring the bill. I also asked for the manager and another waitress said he wasnt there. Sadly, not coming back until they change some of their personal.
