This is a very popular breakfast place in Simi Valley and for good reason. The country (or chicken) style décor makes you feel right at home. The service was fast and the food was very good. For the most part prices are slightly higher then other breakfast spots in town. The restaurant was surprisingly busy on the weekday morning that we came. On the weekend you will almost certainly see a line of people waiting outside for a table. So come early and expect a wait time during busy days/hours. Enjoy!

Theres a reason why the line goes out the door on a Sunday mid-morning early noon. This place is amazing, complete with some Southern charm. Try the Fried Chicken and Waffle. Try the Chicken Gumbo! Try one of there many specialty omelets and scrambles you cant go wrong. And to top it off, they are open for lunch too. Thick meaty beef sandwiches, great salads... this place has it all. I just wish it were open longer so I could eat there for dinner too.

Pros: - Sizeable portions - Tastes great - Attentive waitors/staff - Diverse menu choices - Complementary coffee cake Cons: - Can be hard to find parking - At busiest hours food can be slow to arrive Note: Multiple times I have accidently left my sunglasses at the restaurant and every time one of the waitors chased me down in the parking lot to give them back to me or put them behind the cash register for when I came back. Great people working here.

We are always satisfied with the quality of the food and staff each time my family and I go. Their food is great and their service is friendly. The owner and staff know us because we go so often, and they always treat us well. I typically order the Americas Favorite with Bacon when Im there and love the plates full, crispy bacon strips. Though the wait for a table can sometimes be long during their busy hours, its definitely worth it.

This place is bomb - if you like breakfast - and who doesnt?! Theyve got breakfast standards as well as options for conscious eaters, like an "athletes menu" of low-carb/high-protein dishes. Im an egg white scramble with turkey bacon, feta cheese and sun-dried tomatoes kind of girl. Thats off the athletes menu. Ummm... healthy AND delicious?! Also, gratis coffee cake. The end.

Ive been coming to the Egg House for about 8 years now and Im so glad I found it. My family and I probably come here at least once a week to enjoy their awesome entrees like their omelettes or pancakes, but the real reason we go there is because of the employees. All of them treat us like their own and it makes us feel very happy to be there.

Great service and by far, one of the best tasting breakfasts my Father and I have had! We had omelettes that were absolutely delicious! Portion are generous. I am giving a 4-star only because it was noisy--it is a smaller restaurant and it was a full house. Other than that, we will be back with other family members and friends! Bon Appetite!

We moved to Simi Valley recently, and wanted to try local eateries. This place is so good! They give you complimentary coffee cake, excellent service, and their food is delicious. I must say, Im very picky when it comes to restaurants and how they cook bacon, and this place gets it 100% right. I recommend anyone to go there.

Casual Comfort food Breakfast & Lunch, including Healthy Choices. Its almost like going to an old friends Grandparents Farm for warm n friendly hospitality, & a home-made meal in a relaxed atmosphere. Try the Albondigas soup, or the Daily Omelette special. It would be pretty hard to beat the Egg House for a home style breakfast anywhere around here. There is a very versatile menu with everything from pancakes and waffles to high protein "Athletes Specials" I have always had good service hete. It can be a wait to get on on the weekends because it is pretty popular.

Meh... Wanted to see what the hype was all about. Lots of food but it was just OK. Our waitress was totally out of it. She was slow and brought someone elses coffee cake to us and our food to another table. Of course when it was time to cash out she was on top of it. Wait for food was too long. Wont go back!

The food is pretty tasty here and the service is nice. The only thing is that this place is PACKED on the weekends so the waits are long and -sometimes- when it gets really busy the service lacks. They try their best and honestly theyre all very nice. Just know that if you go on the weekend, you will wait.

Enjoyed it! Was greeted immediately with delicious free coffee cake. Server, Gus, was very pleasant and quickly brought our food. Very pleasant environment and food was great! Loved fluffy and light waffles, tasty sausage and eggs as well as veggie and regular hamburgers with fries and potato salad!

Food was mediocre. Service was friendly, however they seemed understaffed, staff were too busy to provide good service. Had to ask multiple times for refills and condiments. Food took 30 minutes from ordering to sitting on the table. There are much better breakfast/brunch restaurants in the area.

Very disappointed after reading all the great reviews. Food was very simple and very tasteless. Waitress would take too long to refill my coffee and she would give us weird look as if she was bother by us. At the end she just threw our check on the table without saying anything.

Best chicken fried steak and gravey ever. Its tender, not deep fried, cut it with a fork. Large size servings at a modest price. Its only open for breakfast and lunch. You wont be sorry if you have a short wait for a table, worth the wait.
