The cookies and the coffee are absolutely fabulous. They taste great. The cookies have that better than home made taste, rich, buttery, delicious. Original flavors too. I recommend the almond and apricot cookies. They have a round chocolate shortbread which is not too sweet, perfect with a creamy latte. Coffee is served in Italian (plus) sizes, so their largest one is smaller than a small Starbucks. Good flavor, beans definitely not burnt. The setting is nice too, very pleasant and cozy. 4 stars instead of 5 because they should have two people working there. We came in one morning and to get our cookies and coffee it took 26minutes. We know exactly because we put 30m on the parking meter and there were 4m left when we came back. Thats too long for coffee, I dont think we would come during the week before work but for the weekend to enjoy la dolce vita, its perfect.

Update: I was very happy with this place before, but sadly todays visit was a huge let-down. The pastries are still good, but 3 bad points: 1. The espresso was anything but. Apparently this barista either has no idea how to make a real one, or didnt pay attention care, but it was a completely watered down coffee, nowhere near an espresso. 2. One of the nutela filled pastries was heated. Problem was, it was over-heated so much, that the filling got burned up and lost its consistency. 3. When we needed napkins, none could be found. Our table and all those we looked at, had empty napkin containers. So had to go ask the waitress. Now maybe this is all a fluke - I would try again since they did use to be much better than this. But hope this is not what the new normal is there. Past review: Top quality espresso and nice Italian pastries.

Great place with a modest size kitchen counter. I love this place, its like walking into a friends home. Soft music and television on low level is very ideal while exiting freeway and must have a cuppa joe. Never have any problem with the coffee as its consistent on every visit. Place never has more than 2-3 people in line. Separate rooms allows you to enter and sit. Just enjoy yourself and youll find it very homie feel.

Classy! loved the variation in types of coffee drinks! The place has nice warm home setting. It is not big enough for a large group, but perfect to hangout with your best friend, date or just by yourself (take a book to read). This place is a must try. Me being a coffee lover, absolutely loved "Shakerato".

Super-friendly service. Quiet and relaxing vibe inside... A great place to come and read a book or get some work done. Coffee is generally excellent, but can be inconsistent depending on who is working.
