I am an engineer by profession but a complete foodie by heart. Eating Chinese food in the United States was a complete disappointment!! Sweet sauces , sweet chicken , pork and beef etc....even the most spicy dish restaurants have on their menu is sweet!!! However, eating at Yeung Shing I was completely aaawed by their food!! for the first time I was eating Chinese food which was not sweeet!! Their fried rice is to die for!! I think they cook the rice in chicken stock which makes it even more flavourfull!! I am a big fan of their Fish dishes in black bean , hunan, kun pao and chilli sauce!! You must tell them to add extra garlic to any of their fish chicken or beef dishes !! it would accentuate its taste atleast 4 times!! Their service is very very nice ! This place is total value for your money and food is completely satisfying for your souL!!!

I have been here many times over the last few years and was recently reminded how great the food is when they became a part of the the lunch catering rotation at the company I work for. Most Chinese restaurants in the area have more or less the same typical selection but Yeung Shing is definitely among my favorites as ingredients seem a bit fresher and more flavorful than some competitors. Service is great. The staff seems like they take pride in their restaurant which is apparent even when stopping in for take out. Its located in a small strip mall which includes several other restaurants, shops and offices. Its often crowded parking and its easy to miss from the street but its worth the effort. Prices are average, a little higher than your run of the mill corner Chinese take-out spot but definitely worth it.

When I came here a few years ago, I didnt like the food. However, the ownership must of changed, because now the food is some of the best Chinese food in the valley (my fav is Mandarin Gourmet in Cupertino.) It is not inexpensive, but it is worth it. I love the Honey Walnut Prawns, Sesame Chicken, MuShu Pork, Mongolian Beef, and just about everything else. The service is prompt and friendly. The restaurant itself is a nice place to have a meal in, but the take-out is very efficient and packaged well.

I live nearby and have visited them 2 times before. The first time was during lunch hour and the food was okay. The second time I ordered a shrimp dish and it had only 3 shrimps in it. The third time which is this time , I ordered the Yeung fried rice which is supposed to have shrimp, pork etc in it. When I opened the box, al it had was lumpy white rice with some onions, no shrimp , som escrambled eggs and 2 pieces of chicken. I paid about 11 dollars for it. Very poor indeed.

I went with my family and ordered multiple entrées, chicken with basil, schezwan chicken, crispy chicken, and sesame chicken. This was one of the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. Some of the dishes even tasted the same and the only difference being the dressings like sesame seeds and bell peppers. Seriously, save some money and eat in Panda Express.

The food is ok. I got the spicy fish, which is deep fried and kind of looks like tempura in a way. The fish itself was good but the batter on it makes it quite heavy and it was anything but spicy. I was a little disappointed but the other two dishes we got were better. Ill have to order something else next time.

I have no idea what some of these people are thinking. This place is excellent and the service is great!! We love the Sesame Beef, Won Ton Soup, Lemon Chicken and Pork Fried Rice, as well as many other dishes weve tried. If you like Cantonese style cuisine, give it a try. Im sure youll enjoy it as much as we do!

Friendly staff; inedible food. Ive had plenty of pseudo Chinese food before, but this one is something else. They somehow manged to pull off the incredible feat of messing up mushu chicken. I mean, come on man. Hows that even possible? I think Ill stick with Micky Ds next time.

Good place to eat-in or to take out. Kids - no problem. Quite popular with family groups and couples. Food arrives fast and is good quality. The menu is both text and visual - which is always helpful when you dont know what to expect from the name.

Food & Service is Excellent! Had my wifes Birthday gathering here and the Host Shiry worked with me all the way up to the event. We are now regulars and brought other business to them. The restaurant is clean, cool and set really nice.

Remodeled and a very pleasant dining experience for a super casual meal. For what youd expect of suburban, very American Chinese, its among the best locally in Los Gatos. Rating is relative to other options.

Every time I go to this place it gets better and better, and the staff is great too. The owner comes around and is very nice. If I had to pick I would say that the sizziling rice soup is the best.

good one day ... bad the next ... this restaurant will use fresh foods one day and expired foods the next. i would definitely recommend you ask for fresh food and check it before your leave..

Yeung Shing serves authentic Chinese food, but most of the dishes will appeal to a western palate as well. Try the House Special Chicken.
