This Gelato Paradiso is hidden within Laguna Beach, but its easy to find once you spot the long line. I was skeptical at first because I doubted how good this gelato was going to be, but it was well worth the wait! I shared the grande with coffee and sea salted caramel. The combination of the two were fabulous. The coffee flavor had pieces of coffee beans throughout which I enjoyed. The sea salted caramel was a good accent to the flavor of the coffee. This gelato had overall good consistency with creamy textures and potent flavor. Id definitely make another visit when Im back in town.

Walk around Laguna Beach with a cone from Gelato Paradiso, and youll be the envy of every single person, including all those Tesla drivers speeding by! Not the easiest to find, but just follow the smell of deliciousness. Once you get close, itll be near impossible to resist a waffle cone! The gelato is RICH and CREAMY, and depending on the particular flavor, most are not too sweet. The espresso and chocolate hazelnut are my favorites. Keep in mind that the portions are HUGE! If youre planning on lazing at the beach later, best keep it small ;)

Hands down 1 of my top fave gelato places to go to. =) So many yummy flavors to choose from that its like I died & went to gelato heaven! =) Staff are very cool & accomodating with letting you sample as many flavors as you can possibly want to try. There are usually long lines here because its so yummy & delicious but the line moves pretty fast. Space here is kinda cramped, wish theyd move to a bigger location. Faves: Pistachio Mango Dulce De Leche Strawberry Cheese cake Coconut

Great value for the money considering how expensive it is these days to go get an ice cream. On top of that the gelato is delicious. So many flavors and they allow you to choose up to four flavors even for the small cone. The waffle cone is also the best I have tried. I usually avoid them because I dont like them....these, however are delicious. And a pretty walk near the beach area. An all around great place to get an ice cream cone. We go as often as we can.

Walking down to this shop, I felt I was in England for a bit with the cobblestone. Once in, the aroma of waffles takes over for cones and this beautiful magical place leaves you in awe. Then to taste.....oh my gosh, its like eating for the first time. The staff is so great here and very helpful....as there is a need to sample because of the large selection. The presentation is amazing and works of art....I love this place and a must if you re in the area.

Gelato Paradiso is fully legit. With about 30 flavors of gelato and sorbeto its one of the best dessert choices in the area. I tried 3 flavors - the toasted almond, the chocolate and hazelnut and the dulce de leche. Best was the choc-nut followed by the almond. Dulce was not bad but not as good as the other 2. When asked "Cup or Cone" do yourself a favor and ask for the cone - its a tasty treat of its own. Would go there again and try more.

Great gelato with a wide variety of flavors. If you have a sweet tooth, this is a great substitute for grabbing dessert at the restaurant. Clean interior with friendly workers. I like the transparent aspect of the gelato creation process. If youre lucky you may see them adding cream, fruit, and other goodies to make a fresh batch in the next room over (can be seen through a window). Always stop here during my visits to Laguna Beach.

The gelato here was very tasty and reasonably priced. They had gluten-free and dairy-free options as well. There are quite a few dairy-free options with the sorbet and most of the gelatos are gluten free as long as they dont have something like cookie in them. While I didnt order one, the staff they were also able to make gluten free ice cream cake by omitting the sponge cake bottom on their gelato cakes

I used to live in Italy and have had a chance to try many gelaterias and this place is the best in OC. The thing I HATE about it is their abundant use of plastic cups and spoons that get trashed - never recycled. It is so wasteful and plastic never biodegrades. Im sure it costs more than paper cups which is what most gelato comes in Italy. Not to mention plastic is terrible for food and just looks tacky.

So many different flavors to pick. One of the best Gelato places in OC. The places is kind of hidden in an alley in the heart of Downtown Laguna Beach. Even though, there is no sit down places, but you can grab the best Gelato and enjoy a nice walk by the beach. Plus, you can have up to 4 scoops for the large size, you cant go wrong with that.

Lovely little spot once you get close the fresh waffle smell floods the air and then your greeted with a beautiful assortment of gelato. I tried the oreo it was great a nice mix of cream and cookies. I got the small cone and was still allot, they give huge portions. The only downside was the line but it was well worth the wait.

They have THE MOST AMAZING gelato Ive ever had!! Unique flavors! The flavor of the month was Guiness (pretty good actually) and Honey Lavender (AMAZINGGGG -if youre a lavender fan =) ... I was blown away by the quality and selection!!! I live in AZ but Ill be sure to stop by the everytime Im in O.C. !!!!

The best Gelato Ive ever had! So smooth and creamy. The Dark Chocolate Hazelnut is my favorite, but all the flavors Ive tried are amazing. Its a bit on the pricy side, but worth every penny! Oh, definitely get the waffle cone as theyre made fresh and taste amazing too.

We stumbled upon this place after seeing it tucked away in a little nook. There was a line of people waiting to get some gelato so we figured it had to be good and stood in line. Service was fast and friendly and we ordered dulche de leche and it was delicious!!!

Friendly smiles. Great selection of flavors. They let you sample the flavors too! And you can put up to 3 flavors in a cone or 4 in a bowl! Was a little tricky to find since they are tucked away from the main Street but definitely an awesome treat!

Their Gelato are delicious compared to other places and they have a ton of variety as well as flavor of the month. They also make their own waffle cone that smells so delightful. I wish this place offers the Affogato as well as the Gelappé.

Dont let the line deter you. It is worth it. All the chocolate flavors are very rich. Use the yelp check in for a discount. You get a grande waffle cover for $5.50, huge portions. Also, you get more gelato in a cone than cup.

Long line but well see after the gelato! The verdict; good but not great, too much sugar that overpowers the flavor. I do not understand ; why not save on sugar and let true flavor shine. Would I return? Maybe
