This little slice of Louisiana is not something to be missed if you find yourself up in Healdsburg. If you dont often find yourself in Healdsburg, you should really do something about that. But anyway, on to Parish Cafe. I ate there for breakfast during the 2013 Barrel Tasting event in northern Sonoma County and those flavors haunt me to this day. The beignets are a revelation in the towering heights of pleasure that can be scaled with some delicate, fluffy pastry and confectioners sugar. I would be there every morning for these heavenly little pastry clouds and a cup of locally roasted coffee if it wasnt a 3 hour commute each way. The crawfish and andouille omelet was delicious and...well, playful in its flavor composition. Everything is presented as simply as can be so the intensity and complexity of the flavor was a very pleasant surprise. However, it could not prepare me for the flavor explosion that was my girlfriends shrimp and grits. She graciously let me have a bite and....wow, just...wow. The bacon, shallot, scallions, and Creole tomato sauce create a flavor profile that is other-worldly. It was an experience not unlike the end of 2001: A Space Odyssey. I had tasted the grits of God..and my life would never be the same. I know this will be a regular stop on all trips to, through, and anywhere near Healdsburg in the future. The greatest struggle within me is whether I will have the courage to explore the rest of the menu or if the mind shattering deliciousness of those dishes I have already tried will hold me prisoner. Only time will tell. I would recommend this place to anyone with the courage to try new and amazing food. Just be ready for a wild ride.

We come to Healdsburg at least 2-3 times a year, and this is always a stop on our way. The menu is perfect to start off a day of wine tasting! Their beignets are delicate and rich, and their breakfast menu consists mostly of classic, southern comfort food, with a Cajun twist. Everyone that works there is sweet and attentive, and overall its just a great experience. Get there at open, otherwise youll be waiting!

Today we ordered a Muffaletta to go. Very disappointing. Since our last visit, the price has gone up significantly, but the quality has gone down even more. The meat was scarce and I didnt see any salami as is traditional. The olive salad was more water based and should be olive oil based. The result being a rather dry, flat sandwich. In the past their Muffaletta was nearly on par with NOLA. Not so anymore.

The shrimp were not deveined. The cat fish tasted muddy. The hush puppies were burnt. We tried a bite of everything (literally one bite) and sent it all back. I asked for a refund because the food was inedible and got called a liar by a very defensive manager. They may have good food here and I may have gotten an off batch but the food and the experience made my mother ill.

So looking forward to eating here. Bit the young man at the front was so rude There was 8 in group celebrating 19th birthday and we wanted to set together the only seating he offered to us was 4 at a table and 4 on another room. We offered to wait for a larger table. But he wouldnt save us one. His attitude was awful. So we went to willies they were very nice

Excellent food and service. My husband and I were looking for Southern comfort food in Sonoma County. This is the best place weve found so far. I had the shrimp and grits, he had the houma hash. Both were well seasoned and cooked perfectly! Save some room for the beignets. If youre a sweet tooth (like me) start with em. You will NOT be disappointed!

Great place for comfort food with a Louisiana spin. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the Shrimp and Grits. They were well cooked and seasoned expertly. My wife had the Benedict Nouveau and there was more crab than she could eat. It is a small place and they open at 9:00. I recommend getting there at opening or shortly thereafter.

A bit Expensive for a $40k limo driver, but very Tasty and very uncrowded Friendly. Ask if you can get the PoBoy top bread not toasted, rather hard crust. Will Definitely come back and Recommend !! Just West, right off Highway 101. Ample parking lot. Very manly and cute building. Indoor or outdoor seating.

Staff was pleasant and provided courteous, prompt service. Feasted on fried pickles, fried oysters, shrimp and catfish with fries and hush puppies. Swooned over the red beans with ham hocks and andouille sausage. Topped it off with beignets. May this Parish live long and prosper.

We love Parish! The food and service is consistently excellent. The real food of New Orleans and the greater Louisiana is served, and is as good if not better than what we have had in NOLA. By far our favorite breakfast place. But hey, dont pass up lunch! Go and enjoy it all!

Sorry, not totally impressed. The service was good, BUT.. most of the food was bland, including the beignets, although on the other hand the Muffaletta was had salty-olive overkill. We feel that we didnt get our moneys worth in our approximately $60.00 lunch tab.

The food was great, service was excellent, and the atmosphere was cool. The wait was short ... A small mistake was made on an order which was quickly made right. Its expensive, but I will absolutely be back. Its really worth going.

Some of the best oyster and blackened catfish po boys — even in context to visits to New Orleans. Fried green tomatoes were really delicious too. I ordered the Sonoma Cider which was a super pleasant surprise with the dishes.

The Parish Café easily has one of the best atmospheres for any restaurant in Healdsburg. The owners are local and super nice. I highly recommend it for breakfast. Their breakfast menu is amazing. The beignets are amazing!

Beignets are amazing! Great comfort food. Reasonably priced. Friendly service. Nice outdoor patio (aside from the road construction currently happening). I would have liked better quality coffee though.

This is a very special place. This isnt Californias version of New Orleans breakfast and lunch, it New Orleans version of New Orleans breakfast and lunch. The staff is great but its all about the food!

We ordered four different menus. Most of the food was OK, but not so impressive. I ordered the "Parish Plate" with sausage. The sausage was not fresh and was over-cooked. The staffs were friendly.

Great breakfast place, with a taste of ol New Orleans. Had the artichoke omelette with potatoes that was outstanding. The service was spectacular as well. Definitely check this place out.

Just outside the Healdsburg Plaza, The Parish Cafe provided a cozy spot for brunch over Memorial Day weekend. The wait wasnt too bad, the service was excellent and the food was tasty.

The Parish has a nice comfortable, casual setting. The staff is helpful and friendly. The food was outstanding. This place would fit perfectly in the French Quarter.

No better way to start a day-trip in Healdsburg than breakfast at the Parish Cafe. Open (and close with shared beignets then some eggs tchoupitoulas with coffee.
