I stopped by to get some quick dinner on a not-so-busy evening since I had somewhere to be. I placed my order at 5:50PM for a chicken kabob because its usually not dry compared to the other choices. It was somewhat stunning because I noticed that the people who ordered after me started getting their food after only waiting a couple of minutes. I had a pager that they gave to me which didnt ring for a while but I was surrounded by the buzz of everyone elses pagers. At 6:10PM I finally gave up and asked what was going on. Turns out that they accidentally put my order in as a phone order. What the heck was my pager for then? How BAD could you be to mistake an order as a phone order when Im standing right there in front of the counter. They tried to amend the situation by offering free pita bread which I quickly declined. I just wanted to get out of there quick since I already wasted so much time. The food was already somewhat dry. Ill probably go back to this place when I dont have any further plans for the day. I actually wouldnt mind visiting this place before I die because I can just sit there and wait for my chicken kabob forever.

I dont need to write a review about Zankou chicken. Theres countless reviews about how good their chicken is. Just come here and order their juicy chicken with crispy, delicious skin. Enjoy it with their garlic spread! To get the best value, order the family meal and then take the left overs home. Or just be a fatty and eat the whole thing in one sitting with someone else. This is one of the best places to get authentic Armenian food. It is simply delicious. Its one of my favorite places to eat. Everything on their menu is delicious. I even order the large humus by myself because its the same type of container you get at the grocery store so when Im ready to leave they always give me a lid so I can take it home and it helps keep me eating healthy. Make sure you ask for garlic when you get your food because I noticed they stopped including it unless you ask but its something they are really famous for. Its like the best condiment ever. you wont regret it. I like to just spoon some on to each bite until my eyes roll back into my head. ha! oh and their staff is super friendly and the restaurant is super clean. Like you could eat off the floor clean.

This branch was extremely good until yesterday. The Manager (ZURI) was so disorganized. Every single customer was complaining that they got the wrong order. It was Mothers Day- i thought, I will go to Zankou in Glendale- order will be quick and fresh but NO! I brought it to Ms Zuris attention why my order took too long and why was it cold- instead of being apologetic she had an attiftude! Something went really wrong!

the quality of the chicken used need to be inspected..not every piece is fresh and ok..the portions are also unstable..my wife and I ordered the same exact item, her portion was way smaller than mine with a missing white breast..for some reason, the last 2 times we had meals here, we suffered from pain in the stomach.

A little better service than Hollywood location. The employees were not morons like the other location. The girl was actually nice and helped me out with the order rather than argue with me. As far as food it was ok. Food was dry and seemed like it was rushed to cool. Combo meal was same. And falafel wrap was ok.

This food is amazingly well prepared. Hummus and garlick sauce worth the trip alone. We have used their food for large parties at home resulting in MANY more converts to Zankou Chicken! Happy costemers for 18 years plus. The only thing I would change is add credit cards. Let people pay extra to ise one.

Zankou is getting worse and worse, what a waste of money with ridiculous prices and burnt out and sloppy Shwarma and tasteless burnt chickens, this place needs a huge overhaul of their food and the quality is down the drain! Thesis the second time that I spent money and been totally disgusted with the food!

Food was good but you dont get alot for your money. I ordered a #4 white meat chicken and all I got was a small breast & wing, a little scoop of hummus, 1 pita bread and a small amount of the salad that comes with it for $8...Gabys Mediterranean express is a better deal. You get more food for your money....

First time trying Armenian food and I loved it. I dont know if all Armenian food is as good as Zankou Chicken, but this is just great food in general. The chicken is juicy and tender, the garlic sauce is to die for! Not to mention the great service we received. My family and I are hooked

Ive come here many times but the last time i came here the food tasted off. I asked for the manager and the attuitude given was unneccesary. i will not be returning here. Make sure you go in the afternoon because the food from the morning is most likely from the day before.

Another Mediterranean food place I like. They have the secret formula of a garlic sauce that has the best taste and smells no garlic. you can have garlic during a business day and bother no one. Its been in news too. They also have great steak and chicken shawermas.

Degraded Service And Food Quality since my last visit a few months ago. I got the #5 combo. Very little chicken; a tiny thigh and just part of a leg. Pita bread is really cold; used to be warm. Salad is not looking good either.

A must if you live in, or are visiting Glendale. Highly recommend the chicken tarna plate. The combination of savory chicken and their special garlic butter should make you reconsider what you thought you knew about chicken.

Best chicken around. Almost always get the tarna platter and side of falafel to split. The garlic suace is legit and the sides are always good. The falafel are tasty, and at a buck fifty for two a pretty good deal.

This is my go to for fast food in my neighborhood (Glendale). Fast friendly service, food tastes great, and I dont feel like I ate poison after going there. To me, its kinda like the in n out of middle eastern food.

I like this place for Mediterranean fast food. Tabouleh, schwarma, hummus and other options. The chicken plate with hummus, tahini, tabouleh, and rice is pretty good. And with the pita bread its a huge meal.
