Starting this off with a warning: there are a lot places called Albertos, or some rip-off that sound like it (e.g. Albertas in Irvine) - a lot of them even use the same logo!!! Ive stumbled across a couple of those, but they dont compare either quality-wise or quantity-wise to the real Albertos. As far as I know there are only 3 locations, the original somewhere in San Gabriel Valley, this one on Azusa Avenue and a third (that has dine-in) on Route 66 in Glendora. As for food, you wont be disappointed by either the quality or the quantity you get, or even the price you pay for it. Sure theres only about 6 parking spaces (1 disabled) at this location, but since most people get the food to-go thats not so bad. Theres some covered out-side metal seating that is functional if not comfortable. As for the drive-thru there can be a long line of cars (backing up into the street) during busy evening times, but it is worth the wait...the sames lines can testify to that fact. Best food pics: - Super-Nachos (not listed on the menu) with Carnes Asada: is a plate of tortilla chips with a handfuls of cheese added, then rice, re-fried beans, guacamole, sour cream and finally some more cheese on top. - Carne Asada Burrito: a mountain of beef, with rice, beans, cheese and salsa - very, very big. - Breakfast Burrito: a handful of ham, 3 eggs, lashings of sour cream, and a heap of cheese. Id recommend getting this double-wrapped/double-tortilla just to keep it all inside! - Taquittos: 3 rolled taquittos filled with shredded beef, served with lots of cheese and a generous serving of guacamole...for those of you that need something smaller. Last comment, this location has a "B" rating from LA County, though I am surprised; I usually order at the window and watch them cook and I often see the employees keep all areas clean and hygienic. Maybe they had an off day???

Its like all the other Albertos- decent Mexican fast food at decent prices. Portions are usually big and shareable. Staff has always been nice through the drive-thru speaker/window. Some menu items are very literal though- for example, a chicken burrito is literally just a chicken burrito- no beans, veggies, rice, or any other fillers. Great if youre trying to pack on protein, but I never thought Id be missing vegetables in my meal. Because of that, I recommend the pollo asado burrito- now thats the "chicken burrito" youre looking for and its saving grace (I almost left it at 3 or 4 stars previously). Considering variety of menu items, pricing, quality, and speed, this is probably one of the better alternatives to Taco Bell. Note: Unlike other Albertos locations, the drive-thru flow is weird, and youre practically stuck exiting South on Azusa or West on Cypress if theres even a few cars on the road. Forces multiple lane crossings if youre brave/lucky enough or a U-turn way down the road.

This place deserves a zero always gets my order wrong one time they even forgot to put in the meat like how hard is it to make a burrito from your menu? And every time I order Carne Asada fries they always make it half empty or a sprinkle of Carne asada or no sour cream and if any its just like a very small amount same thing goes with the avocado... Ive had enough honestly its worth the drive to go to the one on arrow hwy or the one in BP at least they serve their Carne asada fries with small fries and they taste so much better. Plus they load it with Carne asada

I used to love going to Albertos. I would go at least once a week and always get the #12 Carne Asada plate. Then I am not sure what happened a few months ago but the prices went up and the portion sizes went way down! I used to struggle to finish the plate but after the change I was unsatisfied and still hungry after finishing my dinner. I wouldnt have minded the price increase if the portion size remained the same. I will not be going back anytime soon.

This place is the absolute worst! My boyfriend and I had the carne asada fries and got a bacterial infection that had us sick and out of work for days!!!! They dont watch the temperature of their food while cooking mass quantities and probably let the meat sit out for hours and just throw it on whatever order. This illness has been the worst experience weve ever been through. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

The food was terrible. Back when they just opened the food was very good. Probably 10 plus years ago. I was in the area and ordered a machaca burrito and a bacon, egg burrito and a large horchata . When I got home I tried a bite from each and threw them in the trash. They were a tasteless waste of money. The horchata was ok. Machine made. I guess the couldnt screw that up.

most disgusting chicken burrito way too salty and literally full of tomato sauce. Strongly recommend no friends to visit, unless they wish to upset their stomachs in visiting this establishment. Cooks not caring how the burrito was prepared and just throwing food everywhere. Junior Master Chef have more passion in these cooks. To the owner you are losing money.

The salsa was very salty.than i also order a torta de carne asada and it was worse the bread was very sagy and when i try to eat it the entire meat felt down... Ill never go again. This didnt taste nothing close to mexican food

WORST RESTAURANT Ordered a carne Asada burrito and told the lady NOT to put guacamole because Ill get an allergic reaction. I drive home and find out through biting it that they put guacamole in it and started to have an allergic reaction. I told her NOT to put it and all of this would have been avoided if she had listened.

First things first they take card, at least debit. Pretty standard fair from Albertos that I have grown to love from San Diego. One thing that threw off is the addition of beans to carne asada chips/fries. Its fine but something Im not used to.

Had a carnitas burrito and some rice. Food rates three stars but gets four because the $5 and change burrito was about twice the size that I was expecting. I will definitely come back to try some more things.

The food is good but the salsa is not spicy at all. My bad review has to do with the fact that it has a restroom but they dont let you use it. I understand if you are not a consumer but we did.

Very bland. Nothing super amazing. Had an order of asada fries(didnt finish them too soggy and just not appetizing) asada burrito tasted very plain and like ground beef not asada
