I have loved this place for years, even when they were crammed in that tiny space at FO and El Camino. Best bread EVER, they bake 15 or 16 kinds fresh every day, 5 kinds of rye alone, you will never accept a store-bought loaf again. Huge selection of preserved meats and fish (real smoked salmon, whole), plus frozen specialties and unusual canned items. Cake deserves a whole review of its own. If you dare, the "birds milk cake", multiple layers contain all forms of butterfat known to man - butter, cream, whipping cream, sour cream, and chocolate cream, all encased in a chocolate shell. Other delicacies sold by the slice.

When taking an early morning walk this morning, I decided to pop into this place of business and see what they had going on. Im glad I did, they were running a sale on freshly baked breads. I ended up buying a 12 pack of freshly made sourdough sandwich rolls for $2.50, awesome deal. Ive always liked it inside this place, I have off and on shopped here for almost the past year, always liking what I saw. Also the employees are very friendly and kind and always willing to stop what their doing to answer a question! This place will continue to get my business for sure!
