Wanted some ice cream. Wouldnt had been a big deal if they would have at least advertised "cash only" but as soon as u get to the register to pay for your ice cream they say they are cash only and to use the atm. The arm charges $5 and has a 20$ minimum. I just wanted a $5 single scoop of ice cream but it ended up costing me 10$. Definitely a tourist trap and definitely trying to take advantage of customer for the atm fees :/ kinda a shame..

Workers were rude and openly insulted passersby while I paid. In addition, they are cash only but do not have any clear sign that says so, and the ATM has a $3 fee to use, effectively doubling the price of a scoop if you dont have cash. Theres another ice cream shop a block away; go there

Dont go to this place! They want to cheat you for your money. The cashier took money from us and then later denied having received the payment. She asked us to pay again! They take only Cash and do not give a receipt. Shady place alert!!! I would give it no stars.

There were several things wrong with my experience. The workers had an attitude as soon as I walked in. As a result, I didnt purchase anything and left the store. There is a better place a short walk away that has better service. Go there.

Two stars instead of one due to location close to the beach, seating area outside), and the fact that the kids liked it. Otherwise this is an overpriced tourist trap. Supermarket ice cream, and they charge $1 for an extra cup.

Older White heavy woman is extremely rude to her employees, and un polite to customers. I will never go back to this place. And she over charged us 2 waffle cones and 1 kids cone = $23 ??? how does that make sense

Friendliest service! She has owned the business 31 years thus you can expect great conversation about Capitola. Loved the ice cream and saltwater taffy. Kids loved as a break from the beach. Cash only.

The ice cream was ok, nothing special. It was a bit pricey and my waffle cone was not filled all the way...when I went to pay the cashier was a bit rude when telling me they dont accept cards.
