Chicken fried steak: The taste and texture was very much like a fishy paste. It tasted like fried fish-sticks which I do enjoy but not when its supposed to taste like steak. Bread: The first batch was two small pieces equivalent to 1 normal sized peice it was well cooked, the second batch was over-microwaved which made it rubbery. Beans: Tasty, way to many though, almost became the primary side (too many to finish). Service: Host; good, not great, sat myself in the bar waited for service longer than I would like. Server; mediocre never offered water (still thirsty), came to drop off food and check thats it. I would have rather went to McDonalds. Bottom line: McDonalds price is better, food quality is similar, service is similar to McDonalds. I have a feeling the owners are not around much, or they (him/her?) are around just enough to collect a check and show face, or dont have any clue what good service and chicken fried steak are. Then again maybe in such a small town and in todays world where people dont take their jobs seriously, maybe the staff doesnt care at all. Just realized there was no manager present, thats probably a huge reason why the service was mediocre and the food. Just go to McDonalds unless you want to spend $25 per person for similar food. (This is my opinion, see for yourself maybe Im being over critical.) It was a Friday night so maybe the real cooks take the weekends off.

The ribeye was TERRIBLE! They put some sort of brown sugar/cinnamon glaze over it, then piled onions (which were supposed to be sauteed but were crunchy) and mushrooms over it. The menu calls this glaze a beer based mixture, so I assumed it was a marinade...not the case. I ordered the steamed veggies as a side. They did not strain them, so everything on the plate was resting in a pool of veggie juice. Lastly, the waitress never came back to our table after we recieved our food. She never asked if the steak was cooked as ordered (which it wasnt) or even asked to refil our drinks. When she delivered our ticket, we asked to speak to management. We were informed that management wouldnt be back until the following day and to just write down our complaint on the back of the ticket and she would "make sure they got it". I am working in the Kingman area for the next 3 months. When I told this experience to my co-workers native to the area, they were not surprised and stated this restaurant is known for such. The only thing I can say good about it is the decor is appealing and there is a sizeable bar...if you just want to stop in for a drink, perhaps this is the place to go. If you are craving a good steak, keep driving. My co-workers say there are some excellent steak houses in Laughlin.

The food was not bad, not the most exciting but edible none the less. However, the waitress we had was downright terrible. I am 28 and my wife is 25, but apparently we must look very young (thank you btw) because she treated us like children! She had a snippy attitude, very reminiscent of my high school cafeteria days. This made us feel too uncomfortable to ask for anything other than our initial order. I guess I could see the confusion, my wife is an elementary school teacher and I an insurance agent - clearly hoodlums. To make it worse, she very rarely came to our table and it took her almost 15 minutes just to bring us our drinks. Thank god we were not in a hurry! We actually like staff that has a little spice, but this one rubbed us the wrong way, as if we didnt belong there. She literally left the check on our table while talking to other patrons, not even saying a simple thank you or "would you like a dessert?" - which we did. Maybe this poor woman had issues with younger customers in the past, I have no idea, but we were just passing through and thought "oh lets try this place" - big mistake.

If you want an western eating experience the Dambar Steak House is for you. For Kingman, the atmosphere is excellent. Sawdust in the floor and very interesting local western photos adorn the walls. The salad that comes with your meal is the best anywhere I have ever eaten. Served Ice Cold on a chilled plate. The only thing missing is the chilled fork. The hamburger is excellent. The ribs are OK, but have a lot of fat on them. Stick to the Steak, Chicken and Hamburgers. One thing I found very strange was when served the bill, the bill included the suggusted tip amount. 18% = A tip of a certain amount 20% = A tip of a certain amount 22% = A tip of a certain amount The 22% tip I have never heard of, and is way out of line for a Kingman food establishment. I always tip what I feel the service is worth, not what I am told to tip. And by the way my tip was more than the 22% that was suggusted. The food servers are very friendly and for the most part and try to be in character. I will always go there for the Hamburgers and Ice Cold Salad

I was excited to try a new steak house. I was traveling through town and it was late at night. This was one of the few restaurants that were opened late. The reviews werent great, but our choices were limited. Upon first walking in the decor was interesting and my initial thoughts were maybe the reviews for this one wrong. The reviews were correct. This restaurant was not good. First there was no one to seat us and we had track someone down. The restaurant was dirty. The walls and surface looked like they had not been cleaned in a long time. The service was okay, but the food was not. The salad was okay. The biscuits were terrible hard pucks of nastiness. The steak was average at best. The onions on the stake were pretty much raw. The baked potatoes was not good and there was no salt in the restaurant. Skip this restaurant and try something else.

Yeeehah! Delicius steaks, yummy soup, friendly service, amazing styled restaurant! A*****
