When traveling home from Gulf Shores AL. We stopped at the Whatabuger Restaurant 968 in Clayton AL. We not only sat in the drive through for over 8 minutes at the actual intercom (mind you we were the only ones in the drive through) to place our order but the person working the drive through was very RUDE! Never acknowledged us until my husband yelled hello?!?? Never apologized for our wait, kept repeating and asking us questions to things we had already said. Then when we get to the window we could see that she was yelling at another co-worker. She gave us our food which also included two other meals that wasnt ours. This was our first time visiting a Whataburger and it will definitely be our last!

We typically love whataburger! We stopped at this location, excited but were quickly dsappointed!! We waited in the drive-thru for 20 minutes prior to having our order taken, 2 people were taking orders over the intercom, making a super confusing experience. One was very friendly, the other quite rude! They were out of "meat"...yep at a burger joint and toast for grilled cheese. Everything we attempted to order they were out of!! Crossed the street to McDonalds and had a much more pleasant and friendly experience!!!!!

Parking lot was dark.. the street lamps are broken, restrooms are dirty and dining area had not been cleaned up... it is a Friday night and the lacked the crew to maintain the little get it business they were getting.. we had to wait 10 min. to order... good came out all right fries were cold. The sweet and unsweet tea containers were empty and from the looks of it inside looked as if they had never been washed... we are vey disappointed of it over all.. especially being from Texas where Whataburger was born!

Service was horrible. 7 people working and they sat around in booths chatting with friends. Manager was trying to do all the work. Took 25 minutes to get a simple order. The place had maybe 10 customers the whole time we were there while the McDonalds had a pretty full lot. No wonder. Had all the looks of absentee ownership. A shame because our local Whataburger near home is iur favorite.

The food was good, but do question the service. Last night the employee have my meal to another person and when I mentioned it to him he said there was another #79 order....? LoL anyway, the other person came back in with my order and had it straightened out. I think the employee was love struck with his girlfriend present and simply couldnt think clearly

The location leaves something to be desired. The food didnt seem up to par with the rest of the Whataburgers Ive been to. The restaurant was a little dirty and the staff and little confused. We had to ask for several of our items. Id go back if I were passing through town, but I wouldnt go out of my way.

We went late at night heading back from an late flight on the way home. Food was good and the employees seemed nice enough. Only two complaints was loud obnoxious teens out way late. Secondly, the floors were so slick I almost fell a couple times. The floors are greasy and unsafe. So be careful.

Very rude and unprofessional staff when I visited. I love whataburger and I brought my friend who has never been and we had a poor experience. Very sad to see such a great restaurant run with a low level of service. However, I did enjoy the Christian music being played.

Why cant we have one in KY. So good . Real flavor melts.. French fries like McDonalds USE to serve[shoestring ,hot, crispy and yummy..service was excellent. I did not have to ask 3 times for ketchup and etc . Cant wait till next trip this way.

Best burgers in the world. I have lived and visited a lot of states and a few countries and never gonna find anything better than a Whataburger. Five guys come close but just doesnt quite get it. Gotta be a Whataburger everytime.

The buffalo ranch burger was disappointing. As for the other food, I am unsure of the quality. The place of business is clean and the service was friendly. My 4-star rating should be taken with a grain of salt.

Got to deduct a star for playing religious music. Ugh! Kind of expensive, but the burgers are huge, homemade, and of better quality than McDonalds, a restaurant that I hate. They got truck parking, too!

Wait was much too long , unsweetened tea tasted either ruined or had been in a container where ruined tea was and not cleaned, and not sure if meat was cooked, it was cold. Total waste of money.

First time at a Whataburger. Patty melt was greasy, cheesy and delicious. Fries and strawberry shake are average. Looks like they have some creative sandwiches so Im excited for my next visit.
