Ive tried this place 3 times in the last 8 months and have been extremely disappointed in 2 of the 3 times. The first time, the egg roll was so greasy that the grease literally ran down my chin when I bit into it. I wrapped it in a paper towel to try to soak the grease out and the paper towel was completely soaked and the egg roll was still greasy. This happened again on my third, and FINAL, trip to this restaurant. The first time I ordered cashew chicken and it was horrible. The second time I went, the food was great - egg roll wasnt greasy and the entree was wonderful. The third time, I ordered mongolian beef - quite possibly the worst mongolian beef Ive ever had. The stuff in the box in the freezer section of the grocery store was better than this. The staff is really very friendly and Id like to patronize this place because its so close to where I live - which is why I gave it 3 shots - but I cant keep wasting my money on this food.

My only regret with China Way is not trying it sooner! I have lived in the area for two years, but overlooked the restaurant. No, it is not the most attractive building. However, this place has impeccably quick service for relatively low prices. Also, the drive through option is great for families with small children. Meals come with entree, fried rice, soup, and an egg roll for one price. My box is always filled with enough food to feed me for 2, if not 3, meals. This is definitely our new favorite Chinese restaurant!

My wife and I google Chinese food and this place had 4.5 stars. So of course we got off the next exit to get there. Service was fast but thats the ONLY good thing I can say! I ordered shrimp and broccoli and my wife had sesame chicken. Its was AWFUL! fried rice was just brown rice not like real fried rice with eggs and veggies. My shrimp tasted like mush! Gotta say dont know how it got all these good comments worst Chinese food I ever had!!!

Absolutely horrible service. Asked for dine in, tipped 3 dollars on a 10 dollar plate, they brought me egg drop soup in a Styrofoam cup (never cools down) and said sorry, were so busy! And never refilled my tea. Being busy is a reason to give me crap service? I dont think so.

This is one of the hidden Chinese takeout gems in the Birmingham area. I am a creature of habit, so I admit I have only tried 3 menu items in the 3 years Ive been living nearby, but the staff is always friendly and the food is always excellent, well priced, and well portioned.

Im Asian.Im a student in UAB. Ive been trying all the chinese restaurant around birmingham. This is my favorite place .Mongolian beef is the best! They have a drive-through which is awesome. I dont have to get out of my car. its so fast.

Always a good trip. After Church on Sunday me & the grands enjoy shopping there. I give them a spending amount and they go craxy. When we get back to the car they are checking out each others items

Best General Tso chicken in bham! Could be a bit spicier but the tenderness, price, and the extremely nice staff forced me to give 5 stars. Also Chinese with a drive thru is awesome.

Hole in the wall style. Enjoy takeout proportions more than dine in. Dine in has very little service. We usually have to ask for things at the counter.
