The service was authentic and first-rate which you can only find in japan. The schedule and the server is very Japanese. To those who lived in japan such as myself this makes you feel at home. The ramen is great and they even have spicy Japanese style ramen. The food is cooked in Japanese style which is made for Japanese taste. It may not agree with you. The only disadvantage is their remote location and the building is older. A nice treat is also if lucky one can listen to the Japanese dialogue. The interior looks very Japanese which doesnt show on outside. Upon entering one can feel like you are visiting a Japanese home. You are even greeted properly with "irrashaimasen" so its polite to say " gochusama deshita !" after enjoying your meal.

I love this place! They make the best ramen in El Paso nothing compares! I love the atmosphere its very homey and cozy the only thing that upsets me everytime I go over is the waiter, they usually always have only ONE server for the whole restaurant which means that person is serving around 10 tables at once so it does take a while to get your food, everytime Ive gone theres always a minimum wait time of at least 45 minutes but I dont really mind it just makes me sad seeing the server stressed out so I always leave a generous tip I really wish they would employ more servers!! But I still love this place and no ramen attempts in El Paso come close to Matsuharu!

The Best and Most Authentic Japanese food in El Paso. To start off the atmosphere is very nice and feels comfortable. The waitress was great. She gave us a bowel and spoon for our one year old without us asking. And a high chair. I lived in Okinawa, Japan for 2 years and their Katsu (Pork) Curry taste just like it should. Amazing! For the Spicy Miso Ramen. It taste very very great as well. If you never had Japanese ramen, you have never had ramen that is better than this. On the down side they were out of Japanese beer and were not serving sushi at the time. BUT thats OK! If you live in El Paso you have to try this place, you wont be disappointed!

The bad: The service was slow, this could have been due to a large group of Japanese business men in the back room. The good: Everything else. Waitress and cooks were Japanese. Japanese menus were available. Japanese TV (recorded) was on TV. The Sushi was OK, slightly more expensive than other shops, but tasted fine. We had both Miso and Shoyu Ramen, which tasted good. This seems to be the only place that serves Ramen. Well be going back for sure.

I love everything about this place. From the service to the food! When you walk in your always greeted with a smile. Once you sit down and they have brought you your drinks, they ask what you would like to order. If your anything like I was the first time I went, youll have a lot of questions. But of course there more than happy to explain everything. And once you get your food...OMG it just absolutely amazing. I recommend this place to everyone I meet.

After a bit of a drive to the rather shady location, we went inside to find this incredible little restaurant. The atmosphere is really what one expects when going to a Japanese restaurant, from the decor to the Japanese television shows playing in the background. The service was great, incredibly polite, and the food was outstanding. The ramen is definitely worth it. Will definitely be eating here again

Ive had the rice and curry two times already and its incredibly delicious. Im not going to dock them points for being a cash only business because theyre small and fairly priced, so the cost of going the credit card route would hit them a bit. Look at Chicos Tacos; theyre cash only and theyre a powerhouse. Staff is super friendly and we got our meals within good time. Definitely going back! :)

READ! THIS PLACE DOESNT TAKE CREDIT CARDS AT THE MOMENT Review: This place was amazing, I ordered the miso ramen and it was beyond delicious, I forgot what my husband ordered but he loved it also. Ive never tried authentic Japanese food and i am pleased. Also the lady who served us was so nice and sweet. Will definitely be coming back again, soon!

Ive been here twice, both times were bad experiences. I ordered a ramen off the menu, it took such a long time to receive and they didnt specify that it had shrimp, they also didnt have sushi. The second time they didnt take card, so I was left with just a water. Ill try it once more, because I hear nothing but good experiences from other people.

Great service and great food. I ordered the Charshumen, which was recommended by the very nice woman that serves there. Do expect to wait around 20 to 30 minutes for the food to come, but it is definitely worth the wait. The food is very tasty. Dont shy away from the way the outside looks. Once you go inside, it is very welcoming and cozy.

Honestly the best Japanese food in El Paso. I dont know anything waitresses are nice the decor is amazing and the food is honestly the best thing ever. You can go with your family or with a date its wonderful. The only thing is if they dont take card you must bring cash. For me every time I go a 20 is more than enough.

I went there last night and there was a sign on the door. Cash only, and we no longer make sushi. Please verify in case they change their minds. I went there because of the reviews and was disappointed, but I did not want to bring down their rating with a 1-star review in all fairness.

I like the atmosphere a lot. It feels very fun and peaceful. They have funny Japanese shows on tv. The food was good, but we spent a very long time waiting. It took about an hour to receive our food. The ramen was ok but they dont give much meat. Its also annoying that theyre cash only.

Spicy miso ramen was amazing but very spicy, so be warned! First time visiting this place and was very impressed, the only downside was we waited at least 45 mins for our food. However, once the food did come out it was definitely worth it, so delicious. Heads up, its cash only!

When I came it, I was told they were almost out of food. If you think this is a bad thing then you sorely mistaken. The ramen captures the favors of the Japanese, light, smooth, and clean. It was full when I got there, but it was worth the time and cash.

I Come here at least once a month with friends. The foods good and theres a lot of choices to choose from. They have some extra foodstuff you can order to go like taiyaki or grilled octopus. I guess the only downside is they dont make sushi anymore.
